The infamous glass skin trend that began in Korea is much loved by ulzzangs, it all begins with having clear and dewy skin. There's so many ways to achieve skin like that, and in my opinion the best way to get the best skin is to start from the inside! And no I don't mean ingest your skin care products.

💗 Eating your way to good skin:
Good skin can be achieved by eating right. The best food to eat for good skin is fruits and veggies as they are packed with vitamins! Eating them raw adds to their benefits. Cucumbers are amazing for skin and eating them is even better than putting them on your skin because the benefits will be permanent.

Drinking hot water with a squeeze of lemon and a teaspoon of honey first thing in the morning is delicious and nutritious. It helps increase your metabolism while clearing your skin from the inside out!! Squeezing lemon onto your yogurt is also good for blasting fat and blasting pimples right off your face, the antioxidants in the yogurt is good for getting rid of imperfections.

💗 Eating your way to good hair:
Getting healthy hair requires both good food, maintenance and special care. If you want to start a journey to strong, shiny and thick hair you might want to begin with what you put in your body. Eating healthy fats will give way to shiny hair, vitamin infused food will thicken it and strengthen it.

Dieting doesn't mean don't eat fats, healthy fats are very good for your hair! Eating fish one or twice a week, adding avocados to your salad or dip, and eating eggs will make your hair have the ulzzang shine that is undeniably beautiful. No matter what hair colour you possibly have!!

✨✨✨

Food isn't the only way to get that radiant glow! Applying lotions and potions can do wonders for your skin and hair!! A skin care routine can do so much for you, as well as maintaining a hair care ritual! Now what's my skin care and hair care routine? This is the routine I follow;

Morning:
🌟 brightening soup
🌟 Rose water
🌟 Sun cream (if going out)
🌟 Lip scrub
After shower:
🌟 aloe Vera face wash
🌟 Rose water
🌟 Brightening cream
Bed time:
🌟 Toner
🌟 Moisturizer
🌟 Lip scrub
🌟 Under eye cream

Weekly face mask:
⭐️ two teaspoons of oatmeal
⭐️ One teaspoon of baking soda
⭐️ Quarter a cup of water

This routine can be switched around to fit your schedule and preference, there are also other alternatives for the weekly natural face mask I do! Go online and type in your skin type and add in 'homemade face mask' for example 'oily skin homemade face mask' and you'll get a few options! The one I chose (mentioned at the top) is made for brightening skin and get that pale ulzzang skin that compliments the delicate features of an ulzzang!! 💗

Your hair also needs care and attention, how do I keep my hair soft, shiny and strong? I follow these tips below that I came up with after researching on the topic;

Weekly hair mask consists of:
💞 Two beat eggs
💞 One tablespoon of olive oil
💞 Two tablespoons of water
Wash hair off with warm rice water and let naturally dry (no towel, no hair drier)
Daily hair care consists of:
💞 don't wash hair daily (unless you have to)
💞 Brush hair consistently
💞 Add hair oil into wet hair
💞 Add hair serum into dry hair
💞 Put hair in braid while sleeping
Don't use heat on hair and no pre-made hair products, only natural products (shampoo and conditioner however can be pre-made). Pat hair dry then let loose for quicker drying, rinse with cold water only (not even warm water)

These tips and tricks will keep your hair in tip top shape! The homemade hair mask is designed to thicken hair. If you wish to target another part of your hair such as shine or length then you can take to the internet to customize a hair mask that fits your liking! The reason I wash over with rice water is because it actually helps hair get longer! I recommend you don't go out anywhere afterwards became the rice water reeks!

There are different types of shampoo as well! You have specialist care, vegan options, natural product and much more! Check your local pharmacy for a shampoo that works for you because trust me! What you wash your hair with makes all the difference. However I won't recommend you wash your hair too often because the natural oils in your scalp help repair hair and strengthen it and keep it up to ulzzang standards! 💗
