First you missed my grad
Then we missed you
I missed your funeral
And you missed my first day
It was rough
Knowing you weren't there
By December holidays rolled around
The first Christmas was painful
Then came mom's 50th
Your 30th
You almost made it
Life's cruel joke
One year passed by
In a blink of an eye
We had dinner as a family
Funny how the worst things can bring us together
It's know been two years
Some memories begin to fad
