Heart Strings

Date night

Mike pushed his hair back and sighed. Tonight was Him and Wills date. Their first date in a while though. Will and Mike have been busy with their lives they barely had time, but tonight they can have a night with each other. Mike was wearing black jeans and a nice button up shirt. Will would be wearing  the same thing. he didn't wanna go too far. Mike got in his car and drove to the flower store. He got some roses and headed to Wills house. He took a deep breath as a the door bell rung. Will opened the door. 

       Mike smiled, "You look beautiful." Mike always found Will beautiful or cute. 

            Will's cheek tinted with a color of a bright pink, "t-thank you Mike you look handsome.."

Mike smiled more and handed Will the flowers, "For you my prince."

          Will took them gently, he smiled and put the flowers on the table, "Lets go Mikey." Will grabbed Mikes hand and closed the door. Mike opened the door for Will to get in. After Will got in, Mike did and drove off to apple bees. Mike held Wills hand with his free hand. Mike wanted Will to feel comfortable. He wanted Will happy and safe in his arms. Will was perfect for Mike and Mike didn't wanna lose that.  Maybe 15 minutes later, they got to apple bees. They headed inside and sat down at a table. Will looked at the menu along with Mike. 

      "Everything seems so expensive..are you sure you don't need my help to pay?" Will asked looking at the food. 

 Mike rubbed Wills hand, "Its fine bubba I can pay. I promise." After a waiter came over and they ordered. Mike ordered a burger and fries along with coke. Will ordered a chocolate milk shake and salad. Mike and Will you know had a good conversations. About Mikes work and Will talked about how him and Max are hanging out. Max was Wills best friend after Mike was with Jane but since they broke up Will got his best friend back. After Will and Mike hung out and Mike knew he was falling for Will. He asked Will to prom and of course he said yes. They been dating since then. Will took one more sip of his almost empty milkshake and looked up at Mike. Mike was paying attention to food of course but, this gave Will time to look at Mike. Mikes face was soft, freckles across his face. He noticed the bags coming from under his eyes. Mike needed sleep he was just so busy with everything. Mike just wanted time to be with Will. Will slowly took Mikes hand which made Mike look at him. 

     "You need sleep bubba..you finally get a break and you need sleep. how about we finish up and go home and cuddle. you can sleep ok?"

Mike liked that idea. He got to have sleep but, also be with Will. After a few minutes, Mike payed and left a tip for the waiter. Mike and Will got into the car and drove to Wills small house. 

 An hour later, Mike head was in Wills lap almost asleep. Will was playing with Mikes curly hair watching the movie they put on. 

   "Will?"

        "yes mike?"

"I love you bubba."

        "I love you more bubba. Now get some sleep." Will smiled and kissed Mikes head. Mike fell asleep within a few minutes. Wills roommate Lucas came in and looked at him and Mike. Will looked at Lucas and whispered, "I'm in love. With this boy Lucas." Lucas laughed quietly and put his bag down. "Of course you are Will. Ever since y'all were kids. I've been knew Will." Lucas left the room as Will blushed. He finally had his boy.
