Chapter twelve

ALEC

WHAT THE FUCK! I didn't even know Lycans evolved this much, now living amongst humans... I remember when my father gave us a lecture about Lycans. The moon Goddess created the first lycan as a punishment for his evil sins, he was named Greed, thats how the lycan breed started.

Part of their punishment was that they would never have the blessing of having a mate, they could never reproduce and they could never die. All together there were seven Lycans named after the seven deadly sins, they are Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth.

Wrath found a loophole when he met a Witch named Octivia, she had a twisted mind, practiced dark magic and hated the moon goddess so she helped them with a spell, the spell worked and each Lycan could produce one offspring and so they did.

The moon goddess definitely did not aprove of this and she created Guardians, they were the only species with enough power to destroy a Lycan, when the Lycans got word about the Guardians they were furious, the Guardians and Lycans went to war, many Guardians died that day of foul play from the Lycans but two Lycans died that day aswell, Gluttony and Sloth and since then they all went into hiding, each Lycan on their own.

There were only a few Guardians left but they always kept their identity a secret. When shit gets too bad l, Guardians always shows up to help and then just disappear again. Now a Lycan is after my mate AND she's a Guardian who doesn't know how to use her powers, just fucking great.

For the first time in my life I didn't know what to do, but I sure as hell needed to figure it out before it's too late. Maybe finding who Tracy's parents are can clear a few things up.

Emily and Quinn were having a conversation and I hated that I had to break it up, this was probably the first real conversation they had in years but we had more important things to focus on right now.

I didn't want to leave Tracy either but I was sure she had many questions to ask Emily so I mind linked Quinn to tell him we had to leave.

We said our goodbyes and went to my office.

"Quinn, I already linked Seth, when he gets here I want you to work with him and find Tracy's biological parents, I will be in my study doing research on Guardians and how to defeat a fucking Lycan, when you find something I want to know immediately" I said and Quinn nodded.

Seth was my Gamma and a damn good tracker, if anyone could find Tracy's parents, it would be him. I went to my study and closed the door, the smell of all the old books relaxed me. I took a few books from the bookcase, sat down and began to read.

I was interrupted by my ringtone, I looked at the caller ID and saw Emily's number. What could she want now? I answered and heard a frantic Tracy, immediately I was on my feet and started running, I didn't stop untill I was standing infront of Tracy, her eyes red from crying and I couldn't make out anything she was saying as she rambled on.

"Tracy, you need to calm down" I said as I took her arm and led her to the couch.

Where the hell was Emily when you need her, I do not know how to comfort a crying woman, especially when that crying woman is my mate.

"T-they took h-her" I heard between her sobs.

"Who?" Was all I could ask. Nobody gets in or out of my territory without me knowing so I was confused to say the least.

"Three m-m-men, they took Em" Tracy said and started sobbing again. I needed to calm her down but I didn't know how.

"Quinn, I need you at Emily's house, NOW. Bring kathy with you" I linked him

"On my way" he linked back and I turned to Tracy. Hopefully Kathy will know how to calm her down.

"Alec, we must find her." Tracy cried. I linked my men who was on patrol at the border, they didn't see or smell anything but I ordered them to check the entire border again.

Kathy and Quinn arrived a few minutes later, I asked Kathy to calm Tracy down while I took Quinn outside.

"What's going on?" Quinn asked

"I don't know for sure, it sounded like Emily is missing and someone took her.." before I could finish Quinn let out a loud growl.

"Calm the fuck down, I don't need you scaring Tracy, she needs to calm down so we can hear what happend so we can find Emily, you better keep your shit together while she tells us what happened or I will knock you the fuck out" I said using my Alpha voice, I know he hated it but it was a long day and my temper was starting to get the better of me.

After a few minutes Kathy called us in, saying that Tracy was calmed down. I walked over to her and pulled her to my side. To my surprise she wrapped her arms around me.

"Tracy, I need you to stay calm and tell me what happend" I said in the calmest voice I could manage.

"We were sitting outside and I was asking Emily questions, I decided to come inside to pour as some wine when I heard a commotion outside, I was just about to exit the house when I saw three very large men, one threw Emily over his shoulder and started walking and the other two followed him, I ran outside screaming, one turned around, winked at me and walked on. I ran after them but when I got to the woods they just disappeared" she said and I could see it took everything she had not to start crying again.

How the fuck did three men get on my territory without anyone Noticing and why only take Emily? unless we have a traitor in our pack. I kissed Tracy on top of her head and sat down with her.

Unknown POV

"You need to get in and get out as fast as you can, I can only keep the border patrol distracted for so long before they start noticing shit" I said and ended the call.

Who new I would run into someone who had the same issue as me? I hate Emily and I just fucking loath Tracy. She ruined everything for me. Now that I met Rian, our plan couldn't fail. First Emily needs to get out of the way then Tracy will get what's comming to her.
