Unlikely Roomates

Chapter 04 - Moving Day -

Yesterday Patton helped Roman move into the new house, and today Patton and Roman are going to help Logan move in

Patton made a groupchat with all the boys in it and named it "Sander Universiboys"
Logan was confused, Virgil didn't respond and Roman thought it was hilarious

Patton pulls his minivan into the driveway, he was going to rent a moving van but Logan insisted it wouldn't be needed, the two walk up to the porch and knock on the door, after some shuffling a tall clean looking guy answers, black shirt tucked into blue jeans, blue tie and brown converse. His hair is slicked back, a single strand of hair stylishly hanging about his forehead, he has dark blue eyes framed by black semi rimless glasses

"Greetings!" Roman beams and holds his hand out "I'm Roman King, one of your roommates- and this is the dumbass homeowner Patton Morale- it's splendid to meet you!" Logan Shakes Roman's hand "I'm Logan Debonair Nymble. I'm glad to meet you two as well." He offers a small smile to the two "Come on in and we can star—"

Patton blurts out interrupting Logan "hi glad to meet you- im dad!" Roman looks at Patton who's Face Could Not Be Redder. "You alright Patton?" Roman pats his friend on the shoulder "uh! Yeah sorry- let's uh go" Logan gives a bit of a puzzled look before showing them inside

"You really like books huh Logan?" Roman teases as be picks up yet another box full of books, they're nearly done and just need to finish up grabbing the last few boxes
"Of course, I've always loved literacy. Reading expands your mind." Logan bums as he hands Roman another box and picks up one himself

Patton grabs some boxes and quickly goes outside to his van

Logan looks at Roman "Pardon me, Roman?"
"Hm? Wassup?" Logan balances a box on his hip "Your Friend, is he always this shy? I was under the impression he was quite the social butterfly." It's not like he cares about the guy- he just met him, so what if he's overwhelmingly adorable "Oh no you're right! I think Patton's just a bit nervous is all, he's got school and the house on his mind I think.." Logan nods satisfied with his answer "I'll take that..." Logan takes the two boxes from Roman and balances on the box he was holding "I'll get these to the van" "oh alright- if you're sure you can hold them all" Roman moves across the room and holds the door open for Logan so he can carefully walk out.

Patton sees Logan walk out with boxes and immediately goes over and takes one from him and putting it in the trunk "Thankyou Patton" Logan places the last two boxes in the trunk and Roman comes outside, closing the door behind him. "If that's it we can head back to the house!" Patton beams, Roman smiles and opens the backdoor to the van "you can take shotgun Logan, I insist" Roman climbs inside and shuts the door "Oh Thankyou Roman, that's very kind" Patton goes into the drivers side in a quick gay panic as Logan gets in next to him.
The drive home is quiet and awkward, mostly because Roman talked up Patton to Logan the whole time.
After a solid 20 minute drive they arrive at the house and bring all the boxes to Logan's room so he can unpack

The room next to Logan's would soon be Virgil's
The two rooms across the hall are Roman, and Patton's which are already finished.

Logan unpacks on his own, listening to some science podcast out loud, Patton thinks about how he's going to ask Logan if he'd want to get lunch with him.
