[2] Trouble In The Hospital

**Isabella's POV** 

It's been a week since I met Jacob, and I feel like I'm getting closer to him each day I talk to him. Today is the day his baby sister comes to visit him! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy I get to finally meet her! 

As I walk down the hallway, a nurse stopped me. "Isabella?" she told me. I nodded my head, "Yes that's me, may I help you?" I said with a sweet smile on my face. "Oh, your mom is clear to go home today." I jumped a little when she said that, "Oh really? That's amazing! I will go tell her right now!" 

I practically skipped down the hallway, and then just I was going to go in, I stopped and my smile fade. Wait. I thought. This means I have to say goodbye to Jacob. What if I don't see him again? I don't want that. I hope I can still be in touch with him. Just I was done thinking to myself, I walked into my mom's room. "Hi mommy!" I said to her, "Great news!! You can go home today!" 

Just I was walking up to her, her machine started to beep. "Mom..." I said. It continued to beep, "MOM!" I ran out the door, as I ran down the hallway, "HELP! SOMEONE HELP! MY MOM'S MACHINE IS BEEPING!!" Just I was saying that, three nurses ran to her room. I wanted to go in, but one of the nurses stopped me, "I'm sorry sweetie, but you have to stay outside." I was in tears, "What is going on! What is happening to her?" The nurse looked at me, "We're gonna find out soon. Please just stay in the waiting room." 

I contiuned to cry as I walk away. Please God, don't take her away. I need her, I have no one left. I'm going to be all alone if you take her away today. Please... I contiuned to cry as I walk to Jacob's room. There was a little girl next to him, they were playing a board game. As I closed the door behind me, still crying, Jacob looked at me, "Hey. Why are you crying." 

I ran up to him, and I cried on his shoulder. I felt him rubbing my back, "hey hey hey. Shhh. Isabella, what is going on?" I lifted my face up, as I wipped my tears, "My mom. Her machine started to beep, and I have no idea what is going on. The nurses won't let me see her. They said I have to stay away." I continued to cry as I saw the little girl looked at me, "Jakey why is she crying? Is her mommy dead?" 

"Harmony that's not funny. No, her mommy is not dead." Jacob said to his sister. Harmony frown and looked at Jacob, "I sorry..." It looked like she was gonna cry. I wipped my face, as I spoke up, "Aw Harms. Don't cry, he didn't mean that." I walked over to her, and then she looked at me scared, "Stranger danger!" 

She ran over to Jacob, and jumped onto the bed, and sat on his lap. "Harms there's no need to be scared." Jacob said to Harmony. Harmony looked at me as if I'm going to take her away from Jacob. I didn't mean to do that. 

"I'll be right back." I said as I quickly walked out the door. 

I ran to the gift shop, then I walked into the store. I quickly searched for a teddy bear. I spotted one from the corner of my eye. I grabbed it, and then I paid the cashier for the bear. 

I quickly walked back to Jacob's room when a nursed stopped me. It was the same nurse that stopped me earlier. "Isabella! Thank goodness, I found you." she told me. I looked up at her, "Is everything okay? How's my mom?" She frowned and sighed, "Not so good. She's now breathing with a tube in her mouth. We're doing everything we can, but she's not responding to the medicine." 

I gasped, as I started to cry, while nodding my head a few times. I looked down as I hugged the bear tightly. I felt her put her hand on my arm, "I'm sorry sweetie. We're gonna keep trying, but I think it's gonna be time to tell her goodbye soon." I nodded my head again while crying into the bear. 

She walked away from me, as I sat on the floor with my knees up crying my eyes out while hugging the teddy bear. 

I heard footsteps, I looked up and it was Jacob. He was walking up to me with his baby sister on one side and on the other, he was holding the chemo treatment. He's so tall and skinny, oh my gosh. He sat next to me and Harmony sat next to him. "Are you okay?" she asked me. I shook my head as I kept my face hidden uin the bear. 

I felt Jacob grab the bear from me, "Okay first of all," I heard him say, "You got makeup all over this poor bear, and second of all, what's wrong?" 

I lifted my head up, and I wipped my face. My makeup was all over m\y hands. I looked at Jacob, "My make up is all messed up isn't it?" He nodded his head as I got up, "I'll be back. I'ma go wash my face." 

As I got up, and started to walk I heard Harmony running after me, "I wanna go with you!" She caught up with me, and then I walked into the bathroom with her. "I'll just wait out here." I heard Jacob saying to me and her. 

I got into the bathroom, and I rinsed my face off. I grabbed soap and I started to wash my face. Harmony was on the side of me, standing on the stool, helping me. I smiled lightly as I let her help me. Then once I turned on the water, she helped me wash the soap out from my face and hair. She made sure my hair didn't get wet, as I rinsed off my face. 

Once I turned off the water, she quickly ran to the paper towel box, and handed me some. I smiled down at her, "Thank you princess." I said to her as I dried off my face. "You're welcome." I heard her say to me as I threw away the napkins. 

I walked over to door, once I opened it, Harmony ran out to Jacob. I saw him carry her, and kissing her cheek. I walked over to them. "Jakey I helped her wash her face!" she told him. I smile widely as I nodded my head in agreement, "Yeah she did. She's so cute and helpful." I kissed her cheek lightly as I saw her blush and then I saw her hide in her face in Jacob's shirt. I laughed lightly as she did that. 

"So, are you okay Bella?" I heard Jacob asking me. I shook my head, "No. It's my mom, she's not doing so well." I saw Harmony and Jacob both look at me, "Why, what's wrong?" I sighed, "I'll tell you as I walk you to your room."
