Hunters bid a million dollars for this painting! That was far more than what we expected! This past for months have been keeping myself extremely busy with Little Spartans. I didn't want to be idle. I was afraid if I became idle I would think of him and be tempted to go back to him.
After I hit the hammer,u dispersed the crowd and Mia lead the guests to the dinning room for refreshments. I am left alone in the backyard as I pack up.
"Edna...," Hunters voice comes from behind me. My heart beats violently threatening to get off my rib cage. How I have missed him!. I turn around and look at him with hostility. I can't help but feel a little resentful towards him. He left me!!he broke his promise!
"What can I help you with Mr Hunters?" I ask in the most professional tone.
"Edna please,I love you,I never meant those things" he begs.
"Didn't mean? You said I was not you type! You sided with the woman who destroyed my life and Mia's! J will never forgive you Hunters!never!" I shout at him and run to the backroom
When I am finally alone.I cry. How dare her?!how can he say he live me after all he did!!does he think my heart is a toy to be played with?!
"Edna...."
"Leave me the hell alone!" I shout then I realise that's not Hunters voice. I turn and find Name standing at the door. Without thinking, I rush towards him and hug him. I weep in his shoulders. He pats my back gently. After I clam down...I rush to apologize. My actions were too emotional.
"I am so sorry James.." I ackwardly say.
"No problem,there is something I need to show you" He says gently as he brings the tablet before me and plays a video.
In the video,Hunters is in a room with Madame..he takes a knife and thrust into her thighs, he twists it cruelly....
I am shocked by what I see. Did Hunters kill Madame?!that's the same room her body and Anthony's was found!
"Did he...." I ask James. I can't even spit the word "kill"
"" No,but he orchestrated the whole thing, he broke up with you publicly and leaked the eveisence to police so you could be under custody when the whole thing happened... He also stayed close to Madame deliberately to get to your tapes " James hurriedly explains. So it was Hunters all along!
"Where ..where is he?" I ask .
"He is going to hand himself over to the police,luckily, I gave him a fake tablet..."
"Why???" I ask in panic. I can't let him do that!
"Because you refused to forgive him" James answers and a wave of guilt overwhelms me. I delete the video and destroy the tablets with my heels. James smiles at my actions.
"Take me to him" I command and he leads the way.
