Hunter's POV

"She said she loved me!!she loves me!!" I announce this wonderful news to my sister. Man I am over the moon!! I look like a kid who just got his first trophy. If my employees could see me now! They could be shocked to death. My sister on the other hand isn't, she is the only one who knows the real me apart from cold persona I always display to the outside world. I can tell she is very happy and proud of me from the big smile on her face. You would think she is the one in love !.
"I am really happy for you bro,you finally did it,threw your ego and went for the woman you loved ,I am very proud of you" she says this hugging me tightly I can barely breathe,I am too happy to care, I finally have the woman of my dream. Not even a billion dollar deal can bring the ecstasy I am feeling now.
"Yea siz, how could I not?after your long lecture and her distancing herself from me??she is now mine." I am fucking happy.... but there is something on my mind and I need my sister's help.
"She asked a lot of questions about mum on the way here,can you find out why?" I ask my sister,Edna was awfully quiet after our steamy kiss but could ask questions about my mum occasionally and it worried me. I don't like talking  about my mum so I avoided her question and gave her some false information, she seemed to be relived afterwards but I could tell she thought she knew who my mum was. I wonder how and when.
Mia looks at me ridiculously."why should I do that for you?its normal for to be interested in your personal life now that you two are officially dating"she states with a matter of fact tone. My sister has always been defensive and overprotective on whoever she loves and I know that she loves Edna deeply like a sister,convincing her to snoop around her past will be difficult plus she has a different view on our mother and never blame her,she misses her and loves her to death.

"She just seem to know mum, just ask to be sure ...please big siz" I bait her by calling her "big" she often likes it when I acknowledge that she is the eldest. She falls for my bait but informs me its better if I come clean with my past for this relationship to work. I agree hastily but deep down I don't want to ,how will I tell the woman I love that my mum was an addict who killed herself and willingly signed a contract to sell off her daughter for mere millions? I doubt I will tell her that any time soon.
"Please tell James to come into my office, I have a job for him".I ask Mia.
The short while we were out nothing went wrong,my sister was in charge so everything went smoothly. I read my emails and check out the previous business news,all is good,am still at the top of the food chain.
I only have few deals to make and my sister is free,I reach to check at the tabloids and gossip column,It is always good to know what latest 'lies and rumours 'about me is spreading in the media.
What I find their is infuriating!! Like this one;
Gold digging PA.!!it goes on about Edna and how she is out for my money.!!there is a fucking picture of us kissing in the car!!that was just a few hours ago!how did they even get to us.??!what do they even know about us?!
I throw my tablet at the wall just as James enters,I can see it in his face he read the gossip.
" what should I do sir?"he asks pensively, he is also angry as he is fond of her.
"Find out who wrote the column and the which magazine it is"I bark out orders ,my voice is shaking with anger, am fucking furious.
" already did"James replies curtly. He is ever useful and resourceful.
"You know what to do,buy the fucking company and fire the whole staff. Send your men to get Edna to a safe place now!" I order and James gets quickly to work.
I have to make phonecalls and make sure the propaganda does not spread. I have to protect her.

I really hope Jame's men get to her before the paparazzi does....
