Chapter Two

Virgil's POV

Me and Remy stayed up all night chatting and sending memes and pictures. Apparently Remy's power was being able to tell what kind of monster people were. He didn't tell me anything about what the others were but he just said none of them were humans. He said he was gonna drive me to school after getting me coffee as well.
I got up and got dressed before going downstairs and grabbing my book bag. De and Remus looked at me in surprise while I put my shoes on.
"Why are you leaving right now?" Remus finally spoke up.
"Remy is picking me up." After I said that there was a car horn outside. "See ya!" I opened the front door and ran outside. I got in the car and buckled my seatbelt. "Morning." Remy yawned.
"What kind of coffee do you want?" He said while backing out of my drive way.
"I'll have a little bit of milk in mine, that's it." I shrugged and turned the car's music on. "You seem tired." I joked.
"You seem to be wide awake. How?" He glanced at me then back at the road.
"I've pulled multiple all nighters."
"Obviously." He mumbled and turned into a drive thru. He ordered our coffee and got himself some breakfast. We got our stuff and sat in the parking lot while Remy ate. We chatted while eating and drinking. Once he finished eating, we went to school. Patton was waiting by my locker. Once he saw me and Remy, he frowned and I opened my locker.
"You made me worry about you. You and Remy weren't on the bus." He whimpered.
"Sorry, we went to get coffee, we stayed up all night." I shrugged and got out my books I needed.
"Doing what?" His eyebrows narrowed at me.
"Homework..?" He seemed to believe me and smiled.
"Okay! Just make sure you finish it once you get home this time so you both aren't staying up late! You need your sleep!"
"Okay dad." I put my books in my bag and closed my locker. "See ya in third period yeah?" He nodded and waved good bye before running off to go find Logan. I walked to class and sat next to Remy again.
"We gonna pull another all nighter?" Remy asked sipping his coffee.
"Yep." I said drinking the rest of my coffee.

~Time Skip~

"Can you at least give me a hint what he is?" I ask Remy.
"You gotta find out on your own Girl." Remy sipped, probably, coffee on the other side of the phone. "All I'm saying is Patton is the only one of these in the whole school."
"Well that's no help." I grumble and grab my notepad. "Can I at least have a list of what those three are and I can guess what they are?"
"Fine." The was a long pause before he spoke again. "But to make it harder I'm gonna add a fourth one."
"Deal." I sharpened a pencil and got ready to write.
"Demon, angel, werewolf, and ghost." He listed and I wrote them down.
"Thanks Rem." He just sipped his coffee in response.
"VIRGIL, IT'S 1 AM! GO TO MOTHER FUCKING SLEEP!" My mom yelled.
"Bye Girl. I'll text ya in a few." Remy hung up. I sighed.
"OKAY MOM!" I groaned.
"DON'T GIVE ME THAT TONE!" My mom yelled back.

Remy:
Girl you good?

You:
I'm fine, my mom might come and beat me though.

Remy:
Girl I ain't carrying you around the school.

You:
Whatever
Okay I have my guesses.
Logan's a ghost, Patton's an angel, Roman's a werewolf, and no one's a demon.

Remy:
Wrong.

You:
ALL OF THEM ARE WRONG?!

Remy:
Mhm.

You:
I hate you

Remy:
Love ya too Girl. 😝

I sighed and put my phone down. I looked down at my notepad and crossed out my guesses I told Remy. If Patton isn't an angel, what the hell is he? I sign and put my notepad down. I picked up my phone again and texted Logan. It isn't cheating if I don't tell Remy.

📖Logan📖

You:
Hey Lo. If you had to choose between being a ghost, werewolf, angel, or demon which one would you pick?

Logan:
Is this your way of asking me what species I am?

You:
Maybe?

Logan:
I'm a demon for your information.
Why are you up at this hour anyway?

You:
I could be asking you the same thing.

Logan:
I don't sleep. Demons don't need it.
Now answer my question.

You:
I was talking with Remy.

Logan:
Go to bed vampire.

(Logan has signed off.)

I sighed and put my phone down for the last time. I rolled over and closed my eyes. A few seconds later my eyes snapped open. Wait a second... WHY AM I LISTENING TO A DEMON?! HOW THE HELL DID HE KNOW I WAS A VAMPIRE?! I growled and glared at my wall as if it were Logan.
