I remember a lot of lights.

A lot of bright lights.

No, not siren lights.

Not the other side lights.

But blinding, white lights.

And a lot of moving.

I was being carried somewhere, but wasn't sure where. My head was pounding from the hit. Everything was hurting for some reason and I heard a few people talking but couldn't make out their voices.

Opening my eyes, I saw a guy holding my arms, then another guy who was holding my legs. I couldn't identify them.

The guy, who was holding my arms, noticed that I was awake and informed the other guy.

"Good. I didn't want her dying on us."

I could see their faces a little better, and they looked to be teenagers. Not grown men, who usually kidnaps people, but these were teenager boys.

No older than sixteen.

After a moment, I was being sat down in a chair. I felt my hands being tied behind my back then one of the boys turns a chair backwards then sits down in front of me.

"Hi."

I gave him a look before looking around at the place that I was in.

It looks like a basement or some sort of creepy place. No windows and concrete walls all the way around. A light was on the ceiling, but it was the type that was just the bulb and it had a string attached to it.

Looking back at the boy, I saw him staring at me. "Who are you? What the hell is going on?"

The other boy walks over and stand next to the one in front of me. "Skylar Thomas?"

Shaking my head, I stared at him. I wasn't about to give away my last name. Who knows what the hell these boys want from me.

"Cooperate will be a lot easier."

I shrugged. I wasn't about to talk to them for any reason. It doesn't matter what they do because I can just sit here until I rot.

The one boy who was standing up, walked away and I look over at the other one. He leans a little closer. "Talking would make it a lot easier."

I shrugged then saw the other one walking back towards us. He was holding something and when he got closer, I saw that it was a small belt. It fit just around his hand.

He walks in front of me and I look up at him until he hits me across the face. I turned my head as the pain was pretty bad, but I didn't make a sound or wince.

I look back at him with no emotion as he was staring down at me. He pulls his hand back, ready to hit again until a voice stops him.

When I look over towards the voice, my heart literally stops in my chest as Ana walks in with her arms crossed.

"What did I tell you? Do not hurt her!"

Staring at her, my whole body had completely shut down. My insides were boiling as I was watching this stupid, backstabbing, son of a bitch standing there.

She looks over at me and it took everything in me not to jump from this chair and strangle her with whatever was tied on my hands.

I watched as she told them to leave the room. After they left, she sat in the chair and was now looking at me.

"What the fuck, Ana!" I yelled.

She sighs as she looks down. "I didn't want to do this, Skylar."

"Then why the fuck are you doing this? Are you insane! Why would you kidnap me!"

Fidgeting with her fingers, she looks up at me. "I'm a changed person, Skylar. I want back what was mine. I want the life I had before you decided to ruin everything."

I stared at her in complete shock. Was she for real? Is she being serious right now?

"Are you fucking crazy? Of course you are, why the fuck did I let you in my house!" I yelled. "Fuck you, Ana. You better let me go right now."

She shook her head. "I can't."

"Why?"

Her eyes look down at the floor. "I need for you to stay here until your father takes me back."

I stare at her. "He's never taking you back, Ana. Ever!"

She looks at me then stands up. "Then it looks like you're staying here forever."

Without saying another word, she left the room
