Roughly 8:45pm
Brendan guides them under an arched entrance and away from the dead body of Taylor Raddysh. Etched into the wooden archway over their heads, which is color themed to rainbows and a juvenile touch, are the words: 'Kid's Zone.'
"Can we leave Thompson and McAuley here?" Jonne speaks up as they enter the kid area.
"No, Tammy, are you an idiot?" Kasperi grumbles at Jonne.
"My mother had me tested as a kid, so no I'm not, Kassperi Kraponen," Jonne retorts with a smirk.
"Real mature, Jonne," Kasperi mumbles, rolling his eyes.
To the left side of them is a fun pirate ship playground piece with secret entrances and crawl spaces and a plank that forms a slide. There is also a fun cargo net climbing area as well as giant sprinkler fountains, completing the desert island theme. On the right side is a seating area with benches and rocks.
"Kassperi, heh heh," Jonne chuckles.
"How about we leave Tammela here, since he's acting like a child?" William pipes up.
"Kraponen, genius, Tammela," Jonne mutters to himself.
"What part of 'we're not leaving anyone behind' are all you numbskulls not grasping in your obviously teeny tiny little brains?" Brendan growls. "Keep moving! I need another thrill in my life!"
They continue through the center of the kid's play land and exit the other side, under another arch.
As soon as they step foot outside of the kid's zone, they find themselves staring across at a large lake. On the other side, across the lake, they can see a giant pendulum ride with a boat attached to a stick. Next to that is a massive building with creepy magical lettering that reads, 'The Enchanting Plunge' on it.
As their eyes scan around the rim of the lake, they can see various buildings that look familiar, including Russian buildings, the Eiffel Tower, a model of Buckingham Palace and the mountains in the country that is to their right.
Canada.
"Reminds me of a better version of the World Showcase at Epcot!" Vladdy remarks. "Because...there's...a...Russia..."
"Okay, well, we can't walk across the lake to get to our ride guys, the quickest way is gonna be to go through.." Brendan begins to say.
"OH YES!" Vladdy, Brett and Alex chime out in unison.
Brendan sighs. "Fairytale Fortress..."
Colby jumps off of Otto and morphs back into his human form. "I'm game. And hey, this place ain't half bad. Very bright and colorful and festive. Welcoming for sure, unlike where we began at. I think I'll be okay now."
Brendan whirls around, looking back at the Kid's Zone, seeing another wooden post to the right side of the arch. This time, the arrows sticking out in the direction that they'd just come from, read: 'Deception Hill' with attractions: 'Masquerade Fast-querade', 'Disguise Drop', 'Manor of Masks.' There are also three arrows that point to their left with: 'Fairytale Fortress', 'Serpentine' and 'The Enchanting Plunge' on them. And two arrows pointing to the right, saying: 'World Show'scapade Lagoon' and 'Canada.'
"So, to the left, to the left?" TT sing-song questions, heading for the left direction, toward the grand castle, poking over the treetops that line the side of the pathway around the lake. He is halted by Roope's grasp on his wrist however.
