Twenty-one ice hockey players are gathered together in a 360 circle vision style type of theater room. They have all been blindfolded upon exiting their vehicles, whether they'd agreed to come willingly or had to have been forced to come against their wills.
Suddenly a deep voice booms out with the following speech:
"Welcome one and all to the mysteriously fabulous Masquerade Island. We welcome pets no matter the type of animal they are, as well as the gays and straights, aliens and normal beings. You get the point, I'm sure..."
"Where have you taken us?!" Brett Howden demands. "Show yourself!"
"Calm down, Howden, in time you'll know where you are. But right now I need you to listen, lest I get my friends to make you!"
Brett bites his lip and grabs Brayden Point's arm next to him.
"Bretty, it's okay, just do as they say," Brayden whispers back, out loud.
"It's okay? What are you Positivity the Positive Prince over there?" Colby McAuley snaps, clenching a fist to his side. "Gonna suffocate us all in here with good vibes and wise words of wisdom. YOU WEREN'T KIDNAPPED BY CREEPY ASS MEN! That's illegal, by the way, Point!"
"I was kidnapped, thank you. I don't recognize your voice any, so I know you're not a Bolt OR a Ranger," Brayden retorts cooly, reaching over and patting Brett on the shoulder.
"SILENCE! I'm talking here," the booming voice roars into the microphone. "Now, where was I...oh, right, right, welcome to my fun park. I've invited you all here for a reason. Whether you accepted my invite willingly or had to be forced is between yourself and your choice you made. I am the host of this park, Mr. Masquerade."
"Yeah, I didn't agree to being blindfolded," Ville Meskanen grumbles. "Normally I do the blindfolding."
Vladdy Namestnikov smiles and puts his hands on his hips. "I don't mind the blindfold, it's kinky! But I'm just not used to having it on and not being tied down to a bed!"
Ville rolls his eyes under his blindfold, when Jonathan Drouin (Jo) sniffs the air and hisses in disgust, baring his teeth with fury.
"Oh! I'm taking this thing off and using it to strangle the life out of that blond manwhore!" Jo snarls.
"TOUCH IT, I'LL...I'll send a message to Mr. Bergevin to demote your worthless, second best ass to the AHL!"
Jo growls and lowers his hand, with help from Brendan, who is standing next to him.
"My name is Mr. Masquerade. There is one way in and one way out of this theme park. Soon, I'll allow you run free and have fun, but firstly, this theme park is unlike any others. There's a World Show'scapade Lagoon with a few specific countries, some roller coasters and fun rides, a kid's zone, an animal cove with various animals and I was going to have you stand in the center of it all. In Masquerade Island's own version of the Cinderella Castle per-se, Fairytale Fortress..."
"Fairytale Fortress? We were totally kidnapped by Vladdy Namestnikov, Alex Barre-Boulet, William Nylander and Brett Howden," Jonne Tammela remarks.
Timo Meier chuffs in agreement.
"Funny, Tammy!" Brett whines.
"You know that's a lie, I don't EVER kidnap anybody. I'm always kidnapped myself, so...this is kinda humorous that you were kidnapped and I wasn't! Ha!" Vladdy laughs.
