Run Away Girl

Run away til the clouds touch the ground
Where no one will find us, bare feet whisper without a sound.

Let's throw away the ancient books and defy the odds,
Disobey our parents and decide what's allowed.

Chase rainbows even though we know there will never be an end,
Let's say I do and let our love make amends
To religion and God, our cultures that won't blend.

Let's run away and fight for that rare beat inside of our chests,
Prove that our love will stand up to life's tests .

Let's sink our ship into the abyss,
Our course, our navigation that decides the fate of our kiss.

Let's run away now, before we can think
Don't speak, don't wonder, don't wish, don't even blink.
