You've been together with Kenshirou for 2 years. You worked with him at Nanba since the old warden was in charge.
"Y/N, I've heard that Warden Wellington is retiring," Kenshirou said to you.
"I bet he got fired, he had a relationship with an inmate," You reply.
"That's just a conspiracy Y/N," Kenshirou replied with an anime sweatdrop.
"So, I believe it," You say back.
"Let's just go home Y/N," Kenshirou says.
"Alright Kenshi," You reply as you intertwine your hands together.
~5 days later~
"The new warden is coming today, I'm so excited!" You say to Kenshirou.
"It's not a big deal Y/N," He says to you.
"Well, still It's someone new," You say back to him.
"It's probably just some old dude again," He says to you.
"What if it's a beautiful young woman?" You ask him.
"It won't be, and if you're worried about me falling for this supposed person, you should think again," He replies to you with a smile.
"You can read me like a book," You lightly laugh.
"You make it easy, besides we've been together for a year now," He says back with a slight smirk.
*ANNOUNCEMENT: COME TO MAIN BUILDING TO MEET YOUR NEW WARDEN*
"Yay!! Let's go Kenshi!" You say while dragging him there.
"I don't see why you're so excited....." Kenshirou says to you.
"Ohh hush you," You say to him.
*Please meet your new warden, Warden Hyakushiki!* Mitsuru announced.
"OHHH, IT'S A GIRL!!!" You exclaim.
"Woah," You hear Kenshirou say.
'No, no, no, no, no he promised..... you're fine Y/N......right?'
To reassure yourself, you held onto Kenshirou's hand. Kenshirou looked down at you.
"Don't worry Y/N, youre still my one and only," He said with a slight smile.
~1 year Later~
Things have been rough lately, Kenshirou has been avoiding me for the past few months. We don't even stay in the same apartment anymore....he comes by only to get his things. He promised this wouldn't happen... no no Y/N he's probably just having something going on....yeah that's probably it.....right?
*knock knock*
"Come in," You say emotionless.
"Y/N........" Kenshirou says softly as he comes in.
"Oh hi, Kenshi," You reply with a saddened heart.
"I've been meaning to talk to you," He says in a low tone.
"Alright, talk," You say fully knowing what he's going to do.
"Before we were so happy, just the mention of your name made me smile.......but now your name doesn't make me smile anymore......." He says softly.
'OWWW I've been impaled by words'
"I-it's the Warden I-Isn't it?" You ask him.
"Yes," He replies. "But Y/N, do me a favor, give yourself to someone else who is worth it, save your precious smile for someone who deserves it, give your everything to someone who won't ruin it," He says with a slight smile. "In other words don't smile for me anymore," He says with a content face.
'Like I smile for you anyway...'
"Don't you tell me what to do," You say while you glare at him.
Kenshirou just walked out the door.
"Smile? What a joke......." You sigh while you silently cry.
