Jyugo x Reader: Not Ready

Y/Ns P.O.V:

I sat in my desk impatiently waiting for the bell to ring, signaling school would be over. It's Friday today at Nanba High School. However it is no regular Friday, no sir. There is a dance today, the winter dance. Normally I wouldn't bother with such an annoying thing, but this time I had a boyfriend to go with. This made the event that much more meaningful.

After three long minutes, the bell had finally rung. I quickly grabbed my stuff from my locker and rushed onto the bus. I quickly plugged in my earbuds and began playing many love songs. I began thinking of how fun it will be to dance with Jyugo and do a certain something I've been putting off...

Anyhow, my stop is reached and I get off the bus. Once I was off I immediately begin skipping home. My neighbor looks at me funny, but I ignored it. I am too happy to care.

~Time Skip~

I am just about to leave for the dance when I got a text from Jyugo.

Babe 💕: Hey, I'm running a little bit behind, but I'll be there shortly. Love you ❤

You: It's fine, I'm not even there yet. I'm just about to leave. Love you too ❤

I don't think much about this and drive to the dance I'm ever so anticipating.

After what feels like an eternity I finally arrive at my destination. I quickly make my way inside and pay the $5.00 fee. I look around for Jyugo to find him not here.

He'll be here soon

I decide to wait by the door for him.

It has been about five minutes and I still haven't seen him. I decided I should probably just go wait inside, as it's freezing outside.

"Y/N!" I hear a very familiar voice call.

"Jyugo!" I say excitedly as I make my way over to him.

We waste no time hugging each other.

"How long were you outside? You're freezing!" He exclaims.

"Oh, only about five minutes. I'm fine babe," I explain.

"In 15°F weather," he scoffs.

I laugh at him.

"Come on, let's just go inside Jugyo," I say while grabbing his hand. He doesn't complain. Jyugo paid his fee.

After we go to search for our friends, Nico, Rock, Uno, and Seitarou. We look around for them.

"Oh, I think I see them Jyug," I tell my boyfriend.

"Uhmm, yeah that's them. Let's go," he says calmly.

"Guys, it's Jyugo-chan and Y/N-chan!" We hear Nico exclaim as we near them.

"Hey, guys!" I say excitedly.

"Oh, you guys made it!" Seitarou replies.

"I didn't think you were coming, considering how long you took," Uno explains.

"Well we're here, so let's party!!" I exclaim excitedly.

They all laugh at my action but continue to party.

I had started to dance to the music letting the music flow through me. However, I noticed Jyugo wasn't dancing, this confused me. I stopped dancing and look at him.
