"Well, what do you want to talk about?" He asked with a bored expression.
"Whatever there is to talk about." I answered because I noticed he wasn't gonna be interested any time soon.
"Anything?" He asked.
"Sure, shoot."
"Why do you have a motorcycle?" He asked with a grin.
"Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I can't have a source of transportation that doesn't look feminine." I answered, bothered by his question, which sounded pretty sexist to me.
"Well, no need to get feisty, smarty pants. I was just asking a question. Now you ask."
"What is this, twenty questions?"
"Yes. Yes it is. Now my turn." He chuckled, realizing I did ask a question.
"That doesn't count, I didn't know we were playing twenty questions. I don't even like that game." I said, and put my headphones on.
He pulled them off.
He just pulled my headphones off.
"What do you want?!" My voice raised, but not enough so people could hear, just enough so he could know I'm mad.
"Don't yell at me." It was his turn to be mad.
"What? Is little Luke afraid of a girl who rides a motorcycle?" I mocked him, needless to say it was fun until he got mad.
"I'm not afraid of you or anyone like you, so might as well shut the hell up before I get even more mad. Oh and trust me, you don't want to see that, motorcycle girl."
After that we both stopped talking and I went back to my music.
But I wasn't paying attention to it.
I was still thinking about that day at the hospital. How he looked when he smiled, the way his eyes crinkled, and nose went up a bit. He didn't look like he did a second ago, all mad and mighty. He looked...at peace. And he didn't look too bad when he was at peace, I admit.
I shook my head at myself, I couldn't think he was even a tiny bit attractive. He's rude, annoying, and pulls my headphones out.
So for the rest of the ride, we just sat in silence while I listened to my music.
After about an hour later, we made it to the camp ground. I realized I forgot that we were even going on the field trip, so I didn't even bring anything. To be honest, I wasn't paying attention in class, so I don't know why we're even here.
"Okay, everyone out of the bus in an orderly fashion. One after the other. You will be camping with your partner so if you don't like your partner, tough luck." Mr. Jay yelled out as everyone piled out of the bus. I groaned, knowing that I'll have no place to sleep.
"Most girls wouldn't be groaning right now if they were in your situation." I heard Luke's voice from behind.
"Well apparently, I'm not most girls."
