yeah i was starting to get hungry anyway soooo

you didn't decide to come here because i'm here... right?

zach
of course not...

but what are the odds right???

did my brother tell you i'd be here?

whaaaat nooooo

well how close are you? idk when we're gonna leave so

zach
chipotle's closest to my house so i only go when i'm too lazy to drive too far for something else like today lol

zach
i'll be there in a few minutes

After a couple minutes did pass, I couldn't help when I looked out the window, watching cars pass by left and right. And sure enough, Zach's small figure stepped out of a large car and began walking this way.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed Jordan giving me a funny look then looks in the same direction I am. I glance at him watching his eyes bulge out at the sight of Zach.

"What is he doing here?" He whispers to me as if Zach was in ear shot, but he had hardly walked in yet.

Anna and Sofia spotted Zach as well once he walked in, hardly glancing in our direction as he got in line. He looked up, his eyes finding mine and smiles at me.

I look away, refusing to let such a small simple act affect me in any way. All I could do is try and convince myself, I don't like him back.

I don't like him back... I don't like him back!

However that didn't stop my heart from hammering against my ribs.

After Connor, I didn't want to get involved with anyone.

Especially Zach.

I always felt like he would just be another Connor. Even now that he has "feelings" for me. I refuse to believe such a thing until proven otherwise.

I didn't notice Zach slide in next to me with his tray of food, until I felt his arm brush against mine.

"Hey guys," He smiles politely.

Anna nods with a small smile, and Jordan and Sofia just stare, a little weirded out by this. We've been around Zach multiple times but never in public.

"Hey, Zach. What brings you here?" Sofia asks still clearly confused.

Zach shrugs, "Felt a little hungry, came for some lunch."
