Chapter 6

Once we get home I go straight into my room. I really don't want to talk to anyone right now. Theo knocks on my door and comes in. "You ok" he asks me. "Yeah I'm fine just you know girl emotions. one minute I'm happy the next I'm in tears." "Yeah ok then." he says and backs away. "dinner will be ready in about twenty minutes" I nod and lay down on my bed. I can't help myself but I start thinking about how different my life will be. I mean what school will I go to, will I even go to school I've been here since Monday and I haven't been to school. What will I tell Lima, will I ever see her again. I get up from my bed and walk into the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. My eyes are red. I turn away and go into the closet to change clothes, clothes always make me feel better. I change into jeans and a tank top and go back to my bed. After about ten minutes Theo comes in "dinners ready" he says I get up and walk into the kitchen. The first thing I see is a girl, a girl I have come to know as lima. I smile as she runs over to me and hugs me. I look at theo and he is smiling. "hey let's eat" I say. "ok" Lima says and we sit down at the table. After we eat we sit down in the living room. theo is still smiling. "I've never seen you smile this much" I say. He just keeps smiling "yeah you know what Lima lets just go to my room". She nods and gets up. Once we are in my room I shut the door and we lay down on my bed. "so what's new" I ask her. she just shrugs. "what's wrong I haven't heard you this quiet in like forever". she pulls out her phone and starts typing. Once she's done she shows it to me. "I lost my voice" it says I nod.

Me and Lima talk for about an hour before Theo comes in. "Lima your moms here". She nods and gets up. Once she leaves I go to my room and sleep.
