Was she serious? No way . I realised that my mouth was dangling open but for some reason i didn't close it . I walked away and looked around the house . It was the exact same estate as Leo's , even furnished the same way , not a single thing was changed . The same comic shelf , the same coffee stain on the sofa that he did not care to wash whatsoever and even the same family pictures hanged above the fireplace...in the exact same order.
"You okay there buddy?" Zack asked
The look on both of their faces ... they looked worried and curios at the same time. I thought i must have blanked out in a middle of them having a conversation.
"He has been like this the whole day... i dont know what's wrong with him." Lia said
Quickly changing the subject i said," so when is the interview and where?"
"Uh..well timings are not yet confirmed i'll contact you as soon as i know but the place is still Cheesy John's Pizzeria!"Zack answered.
A pizzeria? Seriously that's the best you can do "Brent"?
"Can't i ... do something else? I mean i can make pretty good coffees?" I suggested.
"Coffees? You really want to be a barista ??"Lia asked
"Yeah , you were the one who wanted to be applied to Cheesy John's in the first place" Zack said

"Uh yeah..i changed my mind .. Sorry"
"Thats..okay i mean my cousin owns Cuppuccino i could totally hook you up!" Zack suggested
Cuppuccino? Really? I decided it was about time i go back home .. before i make a bigger mistake
" sorry guys but i gotta bounce"
"Oh well atleast let me drop you" Lia said while getting up .
"No its ok i'll just take an Uber" i said
"What's Uber?" Zack and Lia said at the same time
