I instantly turned around in terror which made Lia laugh.
"Dude he is not talking to you..look closely"
I glanced over so called Damian and noticed that he was wearing earplugs which were connected to the controller.
Lia went over towards him, taking the headphones with her.
"Here you go. Now return my earphones" she exclaimed.
He did not budge. Im guessed that the sound system was turned way up.
Lia snatched the earphones out of Damian's ears(must've hurt) and he was not happy about it ... and then he saw the headphones.
"Oh.. thanks" he said " yo Brent! You up for some COD?".
I looked over at Lia the look in her eyes told me that she wanted me to play.
"Uhh sure?" I said as i sat down on the sofa. I picked up the controller only to realise that the controls were totally different. Since when are there 'V','J','K' '÷','#'and '!' buttons on a controller? . The Nerdy me made a plan. I quickly borke the batteries.Literally broke them and on the T.V screen it said 'controller 2 disconnected'.
"Aah man! I'm so sorry bro" Damian cried.
"No, its okay." I said while getting up.
I looked around and heard noises coming from the kitchen. I walked in and saw Lia... eating chips (ofcourse).
She got startled when she saw me.
"Weren't you playing COD?" She asked while munching on her chips.
I explained what i did.
"Ha..nerd" she replied.
I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room.
Everything was the same . The same furniture Aria has.. the same coke stain on the wall from when Leo or "Zack" made by putting mentos in it...inside the house.
It was hard to imagine that this was Lia's house not Aria's.This made me question myself even more. What have I done? Where am i? What happened to My world? Is it.. gone forever? Can i not go back? Do i ...want to? I mean at- least i have parents there..
That made me think of something . I looked at the wall in front of me and ran back towards Lia.
"Lia..listen" i spoke
"What?" She replied.
"...get in the car."
"Hey..that's my line!" She cried.
We both sat in the car and she buckled up.I didn't.
"So..where to?"she asked curiously
"...Take me to Harper"
