REALITIES

After some time we reached Harper's house. The exterior of the house did not ring a bell. After we climed the height of total 3 steps, Zack rang the bell. We waited for two silent minutes but no one came to welcome us .
"Call her " Lia said.
"Who me?" I asked
She just stared into my eyes and I got the message.
As i was about reach my pocket , the door opened and there in front of stood my dead cousin Naomi. The same blue ocean eyes and the same long blond hair.
"Brent! Lia and Zack! What a wonderful surprise! I'm sorry I was on an important phonecall. Please come in."
We followed her inside and Zack made himself at home and sat down on the sofa and got busy with his phone.
I looked around the house and the interior did not look like anything I have seen before.
"So what brings you here?"
Harper said as she was picking up random pieces of clothing lying around the house.
"Do I need a reason to visit my sister?" I blurted out.
The room went silent for a while.
"I guess not but you could've called. I could have have cleaned a bit" She replied after a while
"So would you guys like anything to drink?"
Lia looked at me and then at Harper.
"How about some coffee? Brent is pretty good at making coffee"
"Yeah no wonder he is a barista" zack shouted from the couch.
Harper looked at me quite surprised
"Barista? You?"
I nodded. By her reaction I guessed Brent must not have been good at cooking.
"Just a little practice made perfect" I smiled
Lia rolled her eyes and pushed me towards the kitchen. Harper told me where everything was placed and I took everyone's orders.
Before going to the kitchen I took one last look at the living room and saw the door to Harper's bedroom wide open and inside I could pefectly get the view of what I came for.
After some hard working minutes I made one caramel macchiato , one iced mocha and one iced latte.
I was not feeling like drinking any.
"Orders up!" I said as I walked out of the kitchen.
Everybody's head turned.
"That smells so good even from here" Zack said.
"Maybe you are just really hungry" Lia replied.
"Well it sure looks good" Harper said as I walked towards them.
"Wait let me go grab my phone I have to take a picture of this. I think I left it in my bedroom."
"I'll go" I suggested.
Before she could reply I had already proceeded to walk towards her room. I walked inside and looked around for her phone and saw it lying on the bed. I took it and turned towards the desk. I reached for the heart shaped necklace opened it and saw what I needed. Before I could put the necklace back I heard Harper's footsteps growing closer. Instantly, I put the necklace into my pocket and turned around.
"Found it"
