#32 Killed

"I don't know why you're here. But I can't let you go now. I can't just let every guy go. My reputation should now see a light too.", Ethan said as a sly smile formed on his face.

This guy is trouble.

Chopper knew that he couldn't win against Ethan. But he was sure that he wouldn't be able to run away either. He was now in dilemma. What should i do?

As he was still in process of thinking, he saw Ethan vanished again.

Where is he now? Up? Left? Right? Back?

Chopper looked in every direction but he couldn't see Ethan. But he didn't let his guard down.

"You're thinking too much. Haha that's very bad actually. I never intended to attack this time. But seeing you flustered made my day.", Ethan's voice still came from right beside his ear.

Chopper turned his head to his left but Ethan wasn't there.

"You're weird man. I'm standing on your right side and your watching on the other side. Are you angry with me?", Ethan's voice came from right side.

Chopper didn't move. He didn't dare. He couldn't feel or sense Ethan's movements this time.

He is just playing with me!!

Is it because he wasn't attacking?

On the other hand Ethan was quite in mood. He was feeling great. He just used his ability frequently back to back to check if there were any limitations or some kinda stress to body.

But there was nothing like that. All was going good. His ability was as normal as if he had it since young days.

Okay times up.

"I'm done with the experiments. Tell me who sent you?", Smile was gone from Ethan's face. He didn't know yet who sent this dude so he thought of asking once for formality.

Bailey family? Or that antic?

"Hehe even if you kill me, I won't tell you this. And I know you won't kill me until you know the hirer of me.", Chopper gave a creepy smile as if he had everything in his control.

"Oh really?"

As soon as Ethan vanished this time, he was in front of chopper. Chopper couldn't even defend this time and was punched right in his ribs.

Crack

Sound of cracking could be heard as the punch was too strong for chopper to handle and his four ribs were broken. He flew back like a broken kite.

Damn he's strong!

I have to flee. He wouldn't spare me. He isn't even interested in information. He just wanted confirmation to kill me.

Who is this guy?

Why nobody has heard of him?

Underworld should have some information on this kind of guy. Why is he so unknown?
I should run. I can't fight this guy!

Suddenly chopper's body blurred and he was already around a km away. His speed wasn't inferior whatsoever. But Ethan was different.

"Whoosh"

Ethan vanished and appeared right beside chopper. " So we racing now? We should do this after we are done with the adult matters. What do you say?", As Ethan finished speaking, he punched out again.

Chopper defended by his left arm but it was of no use. His arm broke as soon as it came in contact with Ethan's punch. He was sent flying again.

"You should know that you can't run away. Why even try then?", Ethan's voice came from behind him. He was sitting on a higher ground, looking down at chopper.

I'm so dead this time, is what chopper thought.

"Just answer me and I'll make it less painful for you. What do you say?", As Ethan thought about Emma, he knew he should get some information. So he tried asking again.

Chopper was silent for a while. "I'll tell you everything if you promise to let me go." Chopper thought that this much was was okay to ask in return of information. But he forgot one thing.

Whoosh

"Who said we're dealing something? I'm demanding an answer from you.", Ethan was right in front of chopper. He was so close that even some couples will feel ashamed seeing two dudes this close.

Ethan caught chopper's head from front in one hand and slammed it on ground.

Bam!!

It was slammed so hard that dust flew everywhere and there was deep crater in ground.

Even though chopper was quite nicely build and he had cultivation too. Even if he was rogue, he also had some lucky encounters. But now this rogue assassin that was feared by many, was laying on ground, not moving.

He was dead.

Blood was oozing from back of his head. His eyes were still opened in shock. He just couldn't believe his own luck. He was so happy today for signing this deal with that Finch brat, but he just got killed.

"Congratulations to host for killing a high level human."

Ethan dusted his clothes and looked at chopper's corpse. He wasn't feeling bad.

I just killed a human.

And I don't feel anything. This is quite bad haha.

"I leveled up three times? Wow. Killing human gives more experience? But oh well ... doesn't matter."

Ethan went through chopper's clothes and pockets and just found a phone. As he was going to get up, he noticed a bulge in his t-shirt. Ethan checked and found an inner pocket in t-shirt.

There was a black card in the shirt. The black was metallic black and the surface of card was very smooth. There was a golden line at top of card. It was so thin that it was almost invisible. There was nothing written on card except for just a symbol of a hat. It looked pretty good. The hat was red in colour and it looked really nice.

"What's this for? Let's keep this for now.", After Ethan got up, he still scanned chopper's body for assurance. He found nothing else so he got up.

Oh well ... Ethan looked towards office and

He was back in office. Ethan looked around and saw manager's terrified face. Ethan couldn't help but feel happy inward.

"Go check that dude. I don't know who he was. You might have some information about him. ", Ethan said as he was just stating a matter of fact.

"And also I couldn't get any information from him. Apologies.", After saying this much, Ethan sat back on seat and looked at Emma. Her breathing was normal and her Colour was also rosy. She was doing much better.

"I'll go take a look at him.", The manager didn't know why he just agreed to what Ethan said but he wasn't in condition to question Ethan.

He killed that man!

Without any mercy?
