"Here!"
"Thanks. You went to get Squirtle for me? I was going to get him after dinner."
"Well, I saw how tired you were. I figured I would get him while you showered. Let's go eat now."
Okay, I don't know what is love, but this feeling has got to be damn close. You see, I sleep with Squirtle next to me every night. Kongpob has Litleo, and I have Squirtle. We gifted each other with them when we were 6 for Christmas because we were into Pokemons at the time. So I've been sleeping with it ever since.
Kongpob handed me Squirtle, and grabbed my wrist pulling me to the dining table. My heart is pounding so loud that I think it's in my ears instead of my chest. Kongpob's parents Aunt Nomi and Uncle Kerklai had an event to attend, so we were home with the maids. So, we were basically alone. I tried my best to act normal. Never have I ever been so aware of his every movement.
"Why are you staring at me? Do you want my bowl of soup instead? Here, wait."
Am I being that obvious? Before I said anything, he dragged my bowl of soup from under me, and picked out all the mushrooms, and pushed it back. I really hate mushrooms.
"No wonder your weren't eating. There were so many mushrooms in your bowl. But don't worry, I'll eat them for you."
"Uh yeah, thanks."
I nervously look down and start eating. Is there a manual out there on how to behave around your best friend turned crush? Has he always been this attentive? Yes. So why now? Stupid hormones, and Toota. I was happily clueless in the dark before him. How are Kongpob's teeth so straight when I'm the one that suffered through braces? I should just keep my head down eating.

Kongpob's POV
I don't know what is wrong with Arthit. Is he feeling sick? He hasn't said much since we came back. I guess that's not a bad thing either. He has been saying weird things to me lately. I think he's practicing pickup lines on me. I usually find them amusing, so I just smile. Being his best friend, it's the least I can do to help him build confidence, right?
