Chapter 1: replacing

A year ago May died. It was hard for peter to handle, but the Avengers were there for him. They loved peter.

As for tony, tony and peter were already pretty close then tony adopted him because basically he was a orphan. So he lived at Avengers tower with all the Avengers. Peter started calling tony dad and pepper mom. tony and pepper started calling peter their son.

All was going well.

Until one day peter came home from school. He felt like something was wrong in the tower, his senses were going off lightly.And he saw tony with a boy, another boy. About the same age as peter. Black hair, brown eyes. He didn't look anything like peter

tony and the boy were walking down the hallway towards the elevater peter just came out of. Tony didn't seem to see peter. Tony's arm was around the boy and they were both giggling together.The boy smirked when he saw peter. " hi, I'm tom.H. What's your name?" The boy said holding out his hand.

"I-I'm peter." Peter said  shaking toms hand.    " nice to meet you peter." Tom said. He was acting very professional but peter was good at that too, but peter didn't wanna play along he was tired. " so what brings you here tom?" Peter asked.

" I'm Tony's new intern" Tom replied. " I-I'm sorry your what?" Peter asked confused.
"a intern?" Tom replied confused if peter didn't know what a intern meant.

" ok Tony I have to go now I'll see you tomorrow" Tom said turning around to look at tony. " ok tom" tony said waving as tom left the elevator.

" d-dad y-you said you didn't do interns. That was just a fake thing you made for ME so you could take me to Germany!" Peter said to his dad.

Tony? NEW intern. When peter and Tony met peter was still calling him Mr.Stark for a while, a few months actually. How was Tom and tony already on a first name basis?

" well he seemed like a nice kid. He said he wanted to learn more about the science behind suits and science in general." Tony replied looking down at Peter.

" I..... uh.... ok?" Peter said. " ok now go do.... whatever you were gonna do.... uh..." tony said. " peter? Son?"
" peter! Go do what you needed to do uh... p-perver-a pet-pet-er?"

Peter sighed as he went to his room to do his homework. He couldn't focus on his homework instead he flopped down on his bed. A million questions flooded through his brain.

Who was this tom? Intern? Tomorrow? Already? Did his father really just forget his name? Maybe he was just tired? And he Didn't realize what he was doing. Peter thought.

He hoped his father was just tired and he wasn't sure what he was doing.

That thought got peter through the rest of the day.

After peter did his homework he went to go sit on the couch with his aunts and uncles.

Peter sat down on the couch during a conversation the Avengers were having.

" so that Tom kid is really nice."
" ya! He's pretty cute"
" young blood. Good thing at least HE wants to learn about science."

He wants to learn? But peter liked going into the lab and helping his father. He basically did that every day. Just then someone said something that snapped peter out of his thoughts.

" oh hey! Uh....."
"Peter?" Peter said.
" peter! Yes how are you today?" Natasha asked.
" I'm fine" peter sighed

How could his own aunt forget his name as well? Natasha was the closest person to him besides tony. Natasha loved peter.

Or at least he thought.

" so uh.... when did you get into the tower?" Clint asked.
" have I seen you before? You look kind of familiar" Thor asked.

Peter was also pretty close to Thor too. What was happening? Was his family forgetting him? Already?

Peter said to himself it's all going to be fine they just maybe had a long day. It'll be fine. Peter had enough of people forgetting him for one day. So he went to his room and just went on his phone.

It will all be better tomorrow. They will remember me. Dad will forget he just got a intern and he will be like what am I doing? It will all be ok. Peter thought to himself.

Maybe just maybe........he was right.
