Yey! I finally started my own Shinee oneshot collection. The first story is about Minho and Soojin. This is related to The Misconceptions of You so I suggest you read it first. But if you're lazy you can just skip it. It doesn't matter. Ok, here goes...
----------------------------------
It all started with Taemin and his habit of always causing trouble. I don’t really spend time with girls. I don’t have time for those things. So when Taemin gave my phone number to a girl I don’t even know or even met everything just went completely wrong.
The girl was annoyingly persistent. She keeps sending me messages every single day.
"Annyeong oppa. I heard you will be filming today. Fighting!"
I ignored her messages hoping that someday she will get tired of it and stop eventually. But unfortunately from the looks of things it won’t be happening any time soon.
I hate changing numbers. I hate having to memorize phone numbers and then giving it out to everyone I knew. It’s just so time-consuming and I’m too lazy for it.
I sighed in frustration before throwing away my phone. Then an idea came to me. I picked up my phone again and sent her a message. "If I meet up with you will you promise you'll leave me alone?" I knew it was rude but she was just too dense for not realizing that I never wanted to have anything to do with her. If she noticed I’m not answering her messages she should have stopped sending them a long time ago.
After a few minutes she replied, "Ok oppa. Let me know when and where." Great. I’ll get rid of her soon and I will make sure Taemin pays for everything.
I was curious at first. Maybe that was also the reason why I chose to meet up with her instead of just changing numbers. I’ve never had a date with a fan before so I didn’t know what to expect. I suggested we watch a movie. It’s the best option for me. The lesser our conversation will be, the better.
She isn’t the girl I expected she would be. I knew she was a fan because she made it clear to me with all the messages she sent me before. But when I finally met her, she doesn’t act like a fan at all. She doesn’t look at me with awe. She didn’t treat me as Choi Minho from SHINee. She treats me as just Minho, just the plain ordinary Minho.
She told me her name is Soojin. I’ll be lying if I say I didn’t find her pretty at all. She has long wavy hair, long lashes, brown eyes that twinkles every time she smiles, and she moves in a kind of grace that makes every man looks her way. She looks more mature than her actual age. She’s the type of girl that would make a man proud by just being with her.
I made her choose the movie. She decided for an English romantic movie which is boring as hell. I find watching her more entertaining than the actual show.
I saw her cry over one of the scenes. I’m not sure what the scene was because I wasn’t paying attention but from the look on her face it was as if someone was dying. She caught me staring at her and I found myself blushing. "Don’t you think you're being overly dramatic?" I asked. That was all I could do to hide my embarrassment for being caught in the act.
She pouted and gave me the cutest look ever. "If you don’t find it sad then you don’t have a heart." she said. I smiled and continued to chomp on my pop corn. She really is an interesting girl.
I tried to concentrate on the movie. I guess the story goes like this: the guy and the girl met, they fell in love, end of story. The scene is when the girl find out her parents are getting a divorce. The guy was comforting the heroine. It was touching but I couldn’t find anything worth crying over so I was really puzzled.
