Dakota Bradshaw
As I shower, change and get ready in the bathroom, I leave Eden and Parker talking on FaceTime. "So, you've seen Dakota work her magic with men?" Parker asks Eden and she nods. "Let me guess, he was tall, dark and handsome, covered in tattoos?" He continues.
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Eden asks.
"Because that's her type. It's a well known fact that Dakota can't refuse a guy whose tall, with dark hair and covered in tattoos her track record proves it!" Parker exclaims. I walk back in and sit down on my bed next to Eden.
"Hey, I will have you know, I have also been with guys who have blonde hair...But they all had tattoos I'll admit it, tattoos are hot." I respond.
Parker bites the inside of his cheek. "So Eden. You seeing anyone?" He asks and I smirk at him and he gives me a look.
She shakes her head. "No. I'm not seeing anyone. You?"
"Nah, single pringle me." He says and internally I do a dance of happiness.
"You know we really need to get you out here at some point Park. It would be so cool for you two to meet in person and I miss you. I feel like I haven't seen you for months and it's not even been 3 weeks." I say.
He smiles. "I'll definitely try and get out at some point. Maybe for your birthday, it'll be Christmas break right?" He asks.
"Yeah, that'd be awesome!" I exclaim. There's a knock at the door and Michael walks in. "Oh Parker this is Michael my bio dad. Michael this is my best friend Parker." I introduce.
"Nice to meet you Parker." Michael waves.
"You too Mr Michael." Parker says back respectfully.
"Girls your mother sent me to come and get you, we're going out to meet your grandparents. Apparently they have some people from colleges they want you to meet." He says and he walks back out.
Eden gasps. "Oh my god I need to change!"
"Why?" I ask.
"Because grandma knows the Dean of Stanford and there's a good chance she'll be there." And with that she's gone back into her room.
I look back at Parker and shrug. "Dean of Stanford huh?"
"Apparently...Don't look at me like that Park. There's no way I'd get into a school like Stanford with my grades." I say.
"You can change that D." He tries to sway me.
"No. Besides, I don't even know if I wanna go to college anyway, let alone one like Stanford. My parents never even mentioned college, so I never worried about it." I respond.
"OK. Listen, I gotta go. Try and have fun and don't make anyone cry." He says and I laugh.
"No promises." I respond and he winks before we hang up. I get up and head into Eden's room and see her frantically throwing clothes around her room.
