A Promise Kept

Chad looks at me and see's how upset i am and i see the pain wash over his face.

Adam begins to pace around the room again and i see anger building within him making me scared, i close my eyes and try to slowly drift away.

Its dark and i hear colbys voice hes calling for me he sounds worried i cant tell were its coming from i try to look around but i cant see its like i am blindfolded i blink rapidly trying as hard as i can to see, i go to rub my eyes and realize i cant move im tied to a chair. His voice gets closer but it has changed from worry to fear and pain.

"Annabelle stay clam okay no matter what they do to me i need you to stay strong and don't let them win promise me" he cries out as i hear a door open "i promise" i choke out in a raspy voice. Suddenly theres a blinding light and i have to squeeze my eyes shut, i slowly reopen them and i see colby laying on the ground with jake and adam standing above him. I wince as i see the blood on his face his nose looks like its broken "lover boy here decided to try and save you sis isn't that sweet?" adam says in a sickeningly sweet voice kicking colby in the face as he tries to get up, he grabs him by the hair and colby winces "don't make her watch this do what you want but don't make her watch" colby pleas. I look on as they beat him more and i cant take any more "ADAM STOP HES NOT PART OF THIS HE GETS IT JUST LET HIM GO" i cry out not being able to take any more but it dont work instead he looks at me "this is your fault annabelle he would have lived if you wouldn't have gotten involved with him" adam says as he pulls a knife out of his pocket, jake makes colby kneel in front of me his face is so bloody he can hardly open his eyes. Adam walks up behind colby and places the knife to his neck "any last words you little fucker" adam says with a smirk on his face, i try to look away but jake comes behind me and forces my head to look at colby. "I love you annabelle never forget that" colby said then adam dragged the blade across his neck and colby started to cough up blood and fell to the floor.

I wake up tears streaming down my face i can hardly breathe, i look out the door and see that the sun is setting adam suddenly blocks my view by standing in the door "times almost up annabelle i have a choice to make" he says closing the door and locking it "i sent chad ahead he snuck out a few minutes ago hes to kind to go down for this" he mumbles sitting on my bed next to me.

"I have a plan i cant get us both out so instead I am going to kill us both born as twins die as twins right?" he chuckles a sad look on his face.

I whimper at the thought and he lays next to me pulling me close to him he holds me for a while, we hear a bang he jumps up and peaks out the door.

"Fuck whats he doing in here" adam grumbles closing and relocking the door he walks over and pulls out a pocket knife.

"Well annabelle looks like colby came for you after all jake is fighting him back now so we need to make this fast okay" he whispers moving closer he pulls the tape off my mouth and sits me up.

"Adam this doesn't have to happen just turn yourself in and neither of us has to die" i whisper looking him in the eye seeing fear.

He holds his hand up to silence me, hes shaking and i know this isn't what he wants in the slightest.

"Annabelle i don't want to do this so please forgive me and know that you are my twin and i love you" he says then slices my neck open, I start tasting blood and fall over to my side.

As i lay there i hear a massive crash and see colby standing where the door used to be, he quickly tackles adam and they fight for a while then colby hits adams head off the wall and adam falls to the floor.

Colby wipes blood from his nose and looks over to me rushing over and taking his shirt off using it to trying to stop the bleeding, i see him yell something and then he looks at me i see him saying something but i cant hear him.

I see strange men walk in and handcuff adam its the police, once adams gone a man and a woman come rushing in medical bags in hand the push colby out of the way.

I see him standing behind them tears running down his face, a police man walks up to colby and says something and colby turns to the man.

I know im bleeding out but i cant help but want to feel his lips at least once before i die, i didn't mean to but i feel my self speaking i cant tell what i say though.

Colby looks back to me obviously surprised a soft look on his face i can see the love in his eyes.

I feel blood leaking out of my mouth as another woman rolls in a stretcher and they start to prep me to go on it, i can feel hot tears streaming down my face as i watch them escort colby out of the house.

I don't want him to leave as i feel panic take over my body and i reach out to his back then everything goes black.
