Chapter 68

ari's pov  

" code blue . i repeat code blue in room 437 ."

i stop for a second , realizing that's Mahoganys room . Jacob comes tumbling out with nurses pinning him to the wall . Doctors push everyone out of the way , rushing to get her to the E.R.

" Jacob ! What happened !"

" I was telling her what she did was stupid , and she said she knew raping Hayes was stupid , but I meant hurting Ashley . "

Everyone looks at Hayes and Ashley . Hayes runs and Ashley right behind him . Jesus , these past few weeks have been hell .

Ashley's POV

I chase Hayes to the elevator . I barely make it through , landing on my back . i groan in pain , and turn to see hayes , on his knees , worried with concern .

" Fuck . Are you okay babe ?"

I wince as i pull myself up . I nod and smile . " Don't worry about me , but you knew we were going to have to tell everyone sooner or later . "

He falls into my arms , sobbing uncontrollably . I wince in pain as his hands dig deep into my back , where my bruise is forming .

" I-i-i knew that , but , it's embarrassing . I'm ashamed . "

Hearing him , made me feel like shit . If I hadn't gone and helped the cops , i would've been there . To prevent anything happening .

"I'm sorry i wasn't there Hayes , I really am . I love you . no matter what . "

" Forever ? "

I nod my head , smiling . " Forever , my love . "

The elevator doors open , and we press the number 4 button to go up .

Makaylas  pov

I was coming back from the restroom when I feel somebody pull me into the janitors closet . and there was Taylor .

" Listen to me before you leave me , hear me out . I love you . I want you back . I need you babe . I am SO sorry for cheating on you . Take me back , please . "

His eyes begging me , face covered with pain , trying not to cry .

I pull away . " I don't know taylor . I don't know . "

With that , I walk away , tears threatening to fall out from my eyes .

Camerons pov

I walk back to mahoganys room and find everyone crying or just looking depressed .

Ashley and Hayes walk back , hand in hand . I notice a bruise forming on her arm .

" What happened Ashley ? "

She looks at me puzzled .

Then Aria and Matt say in unison . " Holy shit . "

" What ? What's wrong ? "

Everyone is focused on her bruise . Looking at Hayes and her .

She followed everyone's eyes . Then she realizes .

" Oh , well when Jacob kinda announced the thing Mahogany did to Hayes , he took off and went to the elevator . I ran after him and landed on my back and arm . "

She raises the back of her shirt and there was the ugliest bruise .

" Doesn't really hurt . But I think we should all head home . It's been a long day , " Ashley says .

Everybody agrees and we all head out .
