Ashley's POV
The next morning Ari and I get up early and make breakfast for everyone . Matt comes in his wheelchair and looks at us suspiciously .
" Where are you guys going ? "
I bit my lip nervously . I glance at Ari and she nods .
" To see Mitchy . "
My voice cold and rough as her dirty name comes out of my mouth .
Cameron stands next to the doorway , tears in his eyes , threatening to come out at any second .
" She committed suicide last night .. "
Ari looks at me confused and I back .
" What do you mean she committed suicide ? We called the station and they said she was fine ," Ari asked .
Cam shakes his head and runs to his bedroom .
Ari and Matt look at me . I sigh .
" I'll be right back guys . "
Cameron's POV
Why am I crying over a bitch that hurt Ashley when I was in love with her ? No , I am still in love with her . I can't think clearly right now .
A knock on the door gathers my attention .
Ashley's head pops in .
" Can we talk Cam ? "
I nod slightly , wiping my tears away .
She grabs my hand .
" Cam . I am so sorry she committed suicide . If I had knew I would have been by your side holding you and helping you through this . I would . I love you Cameron . You're the brother I wish I had . "
Great . I'm a brother to her .
" It's okay . Oh , babe don't cry over me please . I'm not worth crying for . "
She laughs , but a bitter laugh .
" After all this shit we have gone through . You are worth crying for Cam . You were there for me with the Hayes and Ari drama . When I woke up in the hospital you were there for me . Holding my hand , eyes closed , repeatedly saying , " I love you Ashley . Please wake up . " When Mitchy hit me , you were there . When Hayes and Mahogany happened . You were there . Not once was I there and I feel bad now . Thank you so much . "
She cries harder than ever . More than anything . I pull her into a hug and we sit there hugging each other until , surprisingly, she falls asleep in my arms . She has me in a grasp so I can't get out . I decided to stay like that for the moment being . Holding her felt right .
" I love you Ashley . Not like a sister . More than that . I love you so much . "
I'm shocked when I hear her say faintly .
" I love you more Cameron . "
My eyes widen . Holy shit . I call Nash and he helps me tuck her in my bed so she can sleep . He doesn't ask any questions . He just decided to text me .
