After 3 years Ash and Gary met again at the Johto League arena and of course they were paired up to fight. During the fight they somehow communicated through the fights they had with their pokemon. In the end Ash won and advanced to the final 4 but lost to some guy from Hoenn who had a lot of unknown pokemon.
At the end of the day Gary waited for Ash at the entrance. The raven haired boy noticed this and asked Brock, Misty and Pikachu to wait for him at the pokemon center. As his friends left it was only Gary and Ash left with some other random trainers.
''Let's go somewhere with more privacy'' said the chestnut haired boy. Ash didn't say anything, he just nodded and followed him.
They are now outside somewhere in the back of the arena. It was very awkward but the raven haired boy breaks that with something quite obvious..
''So.. um Gary about what you asked me 3 years ago i can actually answer you now because i did some research..'' Gary had a question look on his face but still listened. ''I think you're in love with me, when i did my research they said that the symptoms were: fast heartbeats, being nervous, being jealous when someone else is around them, etc''
At first it was silent but suddenly Gary starts laughing loudly and Ash looks up at Gary.
''Hey! stop laughing i'm serious!'' he says embarrassed. The chestnut haired boy's laugh slowly turn into soft chuckles.
''I already figured that out dummy'' he says with a smile. Ash's heart can't help but skip a beat after that smile, his blush softly became light pink as he looks at the ground to avoid his gaze.
''Aw Ashy-boy don't tell me you're falling for me now'' says Gary with an arrogant voice. Ash suddenly hearing his nickname like that made his heart throb, he stayed silent.
Gary, wondering if he said something wrong cups Ash's cheeks to check his face. The raven haired boy had a very seductive and cute look on his face as he was blushing. Seeing this expression Gary couldn't hold back his urges that he's been keeping for 3 years and leans in for a passionate kiss. Ash, being caught by surprise, gasps which gives an opening for Gary's tongue to explore every inch on the raven haired boy's mouth. Ash felt his strenght fade away and noticed he was already holding on to Gary for support. After Gary pulled away for air it took a while for Ash to take in everything that just happened, that is until Gary started exploring his neck and putting his hand under his shirt. The raven haired boy try to push him away but couldn't. When did Gary get so strong..
He tried speaking up but he was feeling weird, he was enjoying it..
Then the chestnut haired boy's hand was going lower to his pants. As he got surprised he spoke up..
''Gary stop!'' he panicked. But Gary wasn't slowing down he was full of lust at the moment.
''Gary please!!' he says while tears start flowing down his cheeks. Gary noticed this and stopped. But before he could say anything Ash pushed him away and slapped him and ran away. Gary had already realized his dumb mistake and stood there filled with guilt.
He then headed towards his hotel and lay down on his best thinking about what just happened.
Gary's POV ~
''God i'm so stupid to let myself get swept away like that.. but his lips were soft and kinda tasted like strawberry? And his slender but well built body, his small hips- i really shouldn't be thinking about this right now. He probably hates me and never wants to talk to me again.''
Ash's POV ~
While i was running towards the pokemon center with tears still falling i was thinking about that scene that is still vividly encrypted in my mind. ''I feel kinda bad about slapping him.. no he deserved it for touching me like that all of a sudden.. but i didn't hate it- wait no..what i'm not gay?
Ash never really thought about his sexual preferences. It's true he has never been attracted to anyone because he was focused with pokemon and gym battles but now he was thinking about it a lot, his preferences..
Time skip of 3 days ~
3 days have gone by and i haven't seen Gary at all, well i didn't go look for him either..
''ash.. ash? ASH?!''
''huh! yeah Misty what's up?''
''What's up with you lately, you've been spacing out a lot since the Johto League, you okay?''
Before Ash can answer Brock answered for him.
''He's probably still upset that he lost against that Blaziken when he was close to winning. Don't worry Ash i'm sure you're gonna win next time. Anyways breakfast's ready guys''
Ash and Misty don't say anything and just go over to the table to eat.
