2023 update: i do not condone what i wrote in this book, its very bad and the themes well... we dont talk about it. I don't know why i thought what i wrote was okay, it's clearly not so dont take this book seriously its just badly written.
Alright hey guys, you can call me Tilly. It's my first time writing on this site, hell it's my first time writing at all. But honestly i've always wanted to write fanfictions about my ships so yeah.
It may be bad, too detailed, not detailed enough, ... So i would really appreciate it if you could leave a comment and tell me what u thought about it, because i've already written the next 3 parts! ♡ And By the way the first part is basically a bit like the first episode of Pokemon with changes of course (no copyright). And sorry if there are any grammatical mistakes. I do not own any of the pictures or pokemon
It's the morning~ Ash knowing exactly which day it is, hops out of bed and gets dressed..
"Aw heck yeah it's finally the day, the day i get my first pokemon and start my journey" says the raven haired boy as he puts on his black shirt.
As he heads downstaires to go over the the Professors lab his mother stops him in his tracks.
"Ash Ketchum! get back here, you haven't had breakfast yet. You know how important it is to eat in the morning!" she says while having a soft frown on her face..
"Yes mom i know.. I'm just too excited to get my first pokemon and i don't want to be late" he says as he is quickly stuffing his face with pancakes and syrup almost choking on it.
"Oh i know honey but that's no reason to not have your three meals a day" says Delia with a small smile.
"Okay mom, but i have to go now i'll stop by before leaving for my journey, see you.."
The boy leaves without giving a chance for the mother to answer back.
As Ash makes it by the gate of the lag he sees Gary walking towards him, Ash stops and greets him.
"Oh hey Gary, did you already get your Pokemon?"
"What's it to you Ashy-boy" he says while smirking "Shouldn't you go get your pokemon before they're all gone?"
"Oh yeah !" he says while realising he's already late "I'll see you later Gary" he says as he is running towards the lab.
Gary doesn't answer and just walks away.
Ash and Gary have been friends since they were kids, since Gary's grandfather Professor.Oak and Ash's mother were acquaintances, they always played together and were best friends but when Gary turned 9 he started being distant towards the raven haired boy and started calling him names and such. He never really understood why, he thought it was normal and never really fought back and kept talking to him normally as a best friend..
As Ash made his way into the lab he asks the professor for a pokemon only to find out that they had all been given away. The raven haired boy wasn't satisfied and practically begged for a pokemon. Professor.Oak said that there was one left but it was quite tough to handle. At this point Ash didn't care and accepted it. He released it from the pokeball and saw it was a pikachu, he tried to introduce himself by getting closer only to get slapped by it's tail. As the raven haired boy stood there dumbfounded the little yellow mouse ran off. After Ash realised that, he took his pokedex and pokeballs that the professor had left on the side for him and ran after the Pikachu.
After finally catching up to it he tries to reason with pikachu, somehow. A couple minutes later after Ash basically pouring his heart out, about his dream and adventures, to the pokemon, it accepted to travel with the raven haired boy and got on his shoulder. As Ash goes towards his house to go say bye to his mother as he promised he finds Gary leaning on the wall of his house.
"Hey Ashy-boy, so you got yourself a Pikachu huh well isn't that fortunate" he says with a somewhat arrogant voice.
"hehe yeah, it took some convincing to get this little guy to come along" he says while wearing a bright smile and as pikachu drops to the floor.
Gary felt a throb in his chest but quickly brushed it off by saying something random
"Well whatever i just came by before leaving to wish you luck on your journey"
The pikachu, obviously seeing the flustered face of the chestnut haired boy facing the ground, has a confused look on its face. After that Gary left with quick steps without leaving a chance for the raven haired boy to reply. He was confused but didn't make much of it and went inside the house to see that his mom had already prepared a backpack with everything he needed.
"Oh honey you're finally back, i already prepared your backpack. I added clean underwear and a bento for you. Now then, i won't be there to clean your underwear and remind you to change them everyday so you better not forget!" says Delia while frowning but later on having a sad smile.
"Yes mom i promise i will, and don't worry i have my buddy pikachu here to help me and i'll be right back after the Indigo League" he says with a comforting smile.
As his mother sends him off with teary eyes he says to himself "I finally get to travel around the region and make my dream come true, become a pokemon master, here i come Indigo League!"
During his journey he meets Misty and Brock and travels along with them, after making it to the Indigo League, which is 2 years after his departure, Ash looses and finally plans to go back to Pallet. He is now 12 years old, He proposes to his friends to come along and visit pallet. Of course they accept, because they have nothing better to do, and go ahead towards Pallet..
