DIWALI SPEACIL

Jaz's POV

I sat in the car and waited calmly for everyone to pile in and get to the airport, since they were already late. The car is already on and the engine is roaring every 5 mintues. I sat in drivers, on my phone just scrolling through twitter. My thumb smoothly, scrolling on the soft screen.

That's when all the door of the car burst open and the cold air wraps around me. It was going to rain no doubt about it. Ruby decided to sit in the back with arjan, while uncle and auntie in the middle and the asshole upfront. I quickly backed out of the drive way, and gripped the sterring wheel while I drove. Auntie and uncle chatted while Ruby and Arjan messed around in the back trying to get my attention.

I looked in the rear mirror to see Arjan wink and he started to talk,"Hey mom doesnt dad sometimes hold your hand while you drive? Shouldn't Jay do that with Jaz?" He asked while a smirk grew on his face, anger rose through my body. I clentched the sterring wheel hard and slowly pressed down on the breaks of the car, stopping at a red light.

I felt Jay tense up next to me while I just stayed calm, quickly I put my other hand on the steering wheel not wanting him to touch me. I heard Uncle huff and say yes but then auntie just seemed to giggle and didn't say anything. I slumped in my seat slightly and drove to the airport in silence while everybody chit chatted and Jay just stared out of the window.

Signing softly, I sat in the car while Ruby went inside to check them in, I turned the CD that was in it which happened to be Believe By Justin Bieber. I was just sitting there waiting for her to hurry up. When I heard tapping on my window, I didn't look up but rolled down the window and then I looked up to meet dark green eyes gazing into mine. "We're to late for the flight so you might have to drive us down to L.A" He mumbled leaning in slightly, as he propped his arms on the window sill.

"Alright." I said with no emotion in my voice. Looking away from him, I rolled the window up on him and he put everybody's luggage into the back and everybody pilled back into there original spots. I drove out of the airport drop off and exited the area and took the exit towards Los Angles.

As long as you l-l-love me I'll be you silver! I'll be your gold! The song chanted into the bass and ohh was this such a wrong song to play."Jay! Jaz dedic-" I cut her off by changing the song, I smirked at her through the  rear mirror and saw her smile fade. "Jaz! thats not fair!" She complained while aunt- mom started to laugh. Well I guess I have to get used to calling her mom of course.

The next song was a tad bit better I guess. Nope take that back. Hey whats the situiation I'm just tryna make a little conversation. I continued to drive not saying anything. While Arjan and Ruby cracked jokes in the back making everyone laugh, even me just a little. That's when my favortie song started to play I stared to hummed and singed along. I mean I abousltly love the song and I don't care who can hear me.

"Baby I'm here i'm here to stay," I sung to the music smiling like an idiot while Ruby sung along while laying and texting on her phone. I don't know what happened but Auntie and Uncle looked at each other with a shocked face but didn't say anything.

Everybody had feel asleep after 3 hours, and we had 3 more hours to go. I was the only one awake and I was getting tired but I stayed awake, since we had bought starbucks and it was starting to turn dark. Bitting the inside of my cheek, I didn't know where they lived! Gaahh I started to think and looked to see everyone knocked out. I touched Jay's shoulder softly so he'd wake up, he stired slightly, and got up noticing the surrounds.

"Take the next exit." His raspy voice said, my heart started to beat faster and it felt as if it were suppose to pop out of my chest. I nodded my head and drove up to the next exit while taking a sip of my coffee. "I got coffee for your guys..." I muttered while sipping the hot drink. He nodded his head and took the drink and sipped on it.

 We had finally arrived at their home and let me tell you. LA is a beautiful city at night, especially when it's Diwali. They wouldn't even let us leave until 3 days and let me tell you. I think that was their plan all along, all the complaining of not finding something when it was already in the bag.

"yesss!" Arjan argued back. They wouldn't let us leave at all.Signing softly I just nodded my head as a smirk crossed Jay's face while a wide grin on everybody else's face.

I slipped on my hood as auntie came around with the deya, we all took blessings and went outside to light the rest.I smiled as we all continued to light one, I grabbed a match box, and started to light one up, sliding open the box and grabbing a match, I quickly swipped it on to the red part and the flame started, as I went down to the cotton part of it, I smiled as it began to light up. Suddenly the wind started to blow and I covered it with my hand, but it kept on blowing the light of the flame danced around, until to large hands came down and covered my small one's.

To me it seemed as if time stopped, slowly looking up to only see green eyes looking back my brown one's, the light of the deya glowing our faces to seem as if they were golden. His eye held happiness, and passion, but soon as we heard a hollar, we snapped out of our trance and his eyes read disgust and hatered.

How can someone be this bi polar?!

I retreated my hands and got up walking over to auntie, or mom and stood by her side and smiled at her. "We don't want to be a bo-" "Don't you start talking that bother talk alright! You're going to be my daughter in law, more like a daughter since I never had one." She said looking at me, since we're the same height I just nodded my head and smiled at her.

 I was looking out the window of the guest room and into the backyard to see the lights still going on and on, they looked abouslty stunning to me. I couldn't stop stareing until I felt a pillow hit the back of my head. "Hmmm?" I said rasing an eyebrow and turning around to see Arjan and Ruby giving me a weird look.

"So you and Jay huh?"
