8.Can we just..not?

Jaz's POV

By the time I had barged out of the house all the lights where on in the house.Probably to see where I was. Only two people can find me...only two.

I hadnt noticed there were tears streaming down my face by now.I wasnt in the mood for anybody. No one.

Crunch! A tree brach broke behind me. Quickly snapping my head back and turning around. No one was there.

Shaking it off I kept walking. Not caring where I went I just had to get there somehow.

Ruby's POV

Ugh where did this crazy bitch go!

I kept calling her and calling her but her phone was on voicemail.

"Did you get through to her?!" Jai asked pacing the room on his phone.

"OVIBOUSLY NOT!" I snapped back at him.Gosh there truly were crazy if the girl said she doesnt wanna get married than let her wait god damn!

A torando flew around my room before you came excuse the mess it made it usually doesnt rain. her phone rang. SHE LEFT HER FUCKEN PHONE HERE?!

"WTF?!" I yelled throwing my phone on the couch.Thats when an idea hit my head like a ton of bricks...THATS WHERE SHE IS.

"I GOT IT!" I yelled running out the door.

Jaz's POV

Sitting on the messed up side walk looking over the beautiful city. It was beautiful, just breath taking.For some reason ...calming too.

"Ah...I knew I would find you here!" 

I looked back quickly only to see a pair of legs, nice sweats...

Looking up I saw...my grandpa.

"Hey Papa!"  I said in a small voice.

"How are you hanging in there beta?" He asked kindly his eyes twinkling.

"I dunno..." I said my voice...it was empty...nothing in it.Just nothing at all what so ever. No emotion.

"Beta...I know how it is to hear that your in an arranged marriage with a boy you dont; even know but, I have known the deol family for quiet a long time.You cant get another great rishta than this!" He said smiling

"And beside if that boy breaks your heart...then your old man here will beat him up with his cane!" Grandpa said. I don't know what came over me but I started to laugh at that.

After calming down i sucked in a breath and just went along with this.

"Okay grandpa...can I just think about this...and tell you in the morning?" I said to him smiling up.His eyes just had this twinkle in them.

"Of course child take as much as time needed no pressure!" He said putting his hand on my head and ruffling my hair up.

"JAZ! GRANDPA!" I heard Ruby's voice calling us.

She came running breathing heavoly and she stopped and gave us the 1 min sigh taking deep breaths she re framed herself and huffed.

Walking over to us and plopping down next me three of us just overlooking the city.Grandpa decided to sit with us.

"So ruby...what do you think of Arjan?" Grandpa said.I giggled knowing she had a crush on him.I looked over at her and she had a slight tint in her checks and she mumbled something along the lines.

"He's...cool.." Me and grandpa heard loud and clear though.

"Mmm." Grandpa hummed smirking to himself.
