12. Engagment (Part l)

JAZ'S POV

I've been up for literally 3 hours just walking and pacing back and forth. Oh god okay okay I know what to do. I shook my head and I heard some thumping coming from the stairs, I quickly dove into my bed and waited for them to open the door.

I heard the door open and I took a peck from the blanket and saw Ruby standing there starring at me with a "Are you serious" look. She was holding something in her arms, it was pink/ silvery/ goldish. Oh gosh the Saree.

"Get up!" she said rushing me. I signed and got up , and stood next to her. She said I have to wait here for the make up and hair artists.

"Aka Reet and Joanna!" I said in a high pitched voice I heard girls squeals and they ran into the room. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!" Both yelled and screamed. I face palmed. Oh GAWD I did forget to tell them.

Shoot shoot shoot.

I'm so going to die. I smiled sheepishly at then "Sorry."

I felt someone tap on my shoulder, I looked behind me and saw him. Jay.

"Eh mom said she wants to talk to you." he smiled at me and kissed my cheek and left.

Did he just kiss my cheek?!

"OMFG HE KISSED YOUR CHEEK!" Ruby yelled. I touched the spot where he kissed me, it felt nice. Why do I feel all giddy now? Like I'm on cloud nine. My heart was slightly racing. No stop Jaz you aren't suppose to fall easily!

I felt someone shaking me out if my thoughts. "Awe the bride was having some thoughts!" Reet said wiggling her eyebrows.

"I wonder what kind!" Joanne said smirking and humming."eeewww"! I said leaving the room and going to find aun-mom.

It's going to feel weird calling Auntie, Mom. I walked into the guest room to see Arjan, Mom, and Dad. Knocking on the door I caught there attention.

"Aahhh Jaz sweetie come sit by me!" Mom said patting Jay's bed.She was smiling brightly, Arjan say down Infront and uncle next to Arjan. I sat down next to Mom.

"Jaz...you are going to be part of this family, and I just want to say If Jay is being ride or disrespectful, you are allowed to hit him," I giggled as she said that "and tell us if he does."

"Oh and I totally agree in that apart bhabi, you can beat the crap out of him and you can always come to me for help!" Arjan said smiling at me.

"Thank you." I said to then really thankful for this.

"Well off you go! You need to get ready !" auntie said pushing me out of my room. I smiled a bit and walked back to my room shakily.

I rolled my eyes as Reet kept going on and on about how hot Jay is. "Like his muscle ohhmmyyeff!!!"

I just looked at myself in the mirror as I saw Ruby and Joanne smirk at each other. "Ooo but his eyes!" Ruby said

"Noo his body such mmm!" Joanna said licking her lips, yup that's the one that ticked me off. I rolled my eyes and propped my hands to my chin.

"GOT A REACTION!!" Reet squealed. I was taken aback.

"Wait what?" I asked confused, what was this all about?

"So when you left, we decided to tease yo-" that's all I needed to hear to block them out. I don't know if I was ready for this. I'm sitting here and kinda just thinking.

Right when they finished i was looking beautiful i was shocked. Just plan shocked i couldnt figure out the girl in the mirror.Who was it? Was it me? no way no way.My eye liner was just perfect, my hair curled to perfection.My smokey eye shadow, no smuge, my pink glossed lips. My perfect tan complexion. Woah make up can cover up huh?

"here here! change!" Ruby said handing me my pink saree. it was turley beautiful. With a gold border and silver studs going around I was just amazed.

I went I into the bathroom and quickly changed into it. Walking out with my heels on I noticed all the girls already ready. Wow they all looked beautiful.i smiled at them. "You guys look prettier than me!" I said smiling at them.

Shaking there heads the headed downstairs and since I had to come down last. They were my brides maid to. So they had to be with me the whole time. I hummed softly. Noticing that it's my time to go down since for some odd reason they wanted the spot light to be on me. I already know my massi

I headed out licking my glossy pink lips."woah your not my sister." I heard a gruff voice infront of me. I looked up to see my brother, Jai. Hai raba this boy.

He chuckled and smiled softly. "C'mon princess." He walked downstairs catching everyone's attention I could tell most of my aunts and uncles had arrived. I started to walk down the stairs and I heard gasps arise from the woman and the men's breaths hitching. The nervousness hiting me like a ton of bricks.

It felt like forever when I finished coming down the stairs. And as I did it felt as if all the woman came and gave me a kiss. Ruby had to back them away so they didn't ruin my make up. I laughed at her. "Alright alright yea yea enough kisses!" she said signing.

I gulped as we entered the cars, me and Jai in one car. Since my dad wasn't here. Jai will be dropping me off to Jay, and yea. I was just beyond nervous.

"Aww come on little sis." Jai said pinching my cheeks.
