You greeted the members cheerfully as you watched your mother apply makeup to their already flawless faces. Although going home for a short stay had been nice, it was even better to be in the familiar setting of the dressing room that you had grown up with as a young girl. Someday you hoped, you would be as professional and as good as your mother.

As you wandered from the dressing room, you bumped into someone as you turned the corner. You were about to apologize when you realized it was the boy from the practice room. The dark brown eyes slightly covered by messy brown bangs were unmistakeable and for some reason you felt yourself being drawn to them as if with a magnetic force.

“I’m sorry, I-” you didn’t get a chance to finish your sentence when he brusquely pushed past you and walked off without a second glance.

What’s with him? Does he hate me that much? What did I even do to him?You thought to yourself, slightly peeved by his actions.

***************************************************************

This is torture,I really don’t know how long I can keep this up.Kai thought to himself as forced himself to walk away from you. Running his hand through his hair in frustration, he felt the temptation of talking to you and being close to you tug once more at his heart.

It was hard enough to cope with not being to able to be close to you anymore when you were away, but now that you had returned, the task seemed so much more daunting and almost borderline impossible.

What am I going to do?

*************************************************************** “No!” you screamed as you thrashed around under your blankets. Your mother came running into your room, flicking the light on as she went. ”_______ah, what’s wrong?” she asked concerned as she gently eased you from your tangled blankets. “Bad dream…” you muttered, suddenly feeling embarrassed from your outburst. You flopped back onto your pillow, “It’s fine umma, sorry for waking you.” You mother looked down worriedly at you. “Umma, it’s really fine. I can go back to sleep.” Your mother brushed back your bangs from your forehead and gave you one last glance before pushing herself from the bed and headed out your bedroom door. You stared at the whirling ceiling fan as you recalled the events of your latest nightmare. Ever since you had returned back here, it seemed as if the nightmare had been getting more frequent and each time the content was the same. A boy, on his knees, tears streaming down his face called your name over and over again, all the while apologizing. You tried to bent down to lift him up but whenever you did, a searing pain would shoot through your brain. When the pain passed, there would be no one there anymore. You were left alone to face the frustration. At each dream you tried to grasp a little more of the appearance of the boy, but it remained just beyond your grasp. Sighing, you flipped over on your side and eventually drifted into a dreamless sleep. ************************************************************* In the dorms on the same night, Kai shifted from side to side on his mattress, unable to sleep. Ever since your return, the vivid memories of your relationship and the car accident had kept replaying in his mind on repeat. He wondered if you were doing okay, if you had any recognition of him at all. All he knew was that peculiar behavior around you was attracting your attention. Deep down inside he knew he would have to stop if he wanted you to fully heal, but a selfish side of him wanted to continue and attempt to reconstruct the relationship once more. Indecision filled Kai as one side battled with the other. He let out a sigh, sending his bangs flying in the air. What do I do?The question ran through his head at full speed as he fell into a restless sleep.
