After getting humiliated by Claret Sword and his army, the Dragon Empire had lost the majority of it's military powers, and Claret ruled over it with an iron fist. Despite being a tyrant, Claret's first orders were to reconstruct the damaged or destroyed bases.
He began to also help facilitate the creation of more military weapons, which stimulated the economy and provided the remaining twenty-five per cent with jobs to do. Overseeing this operation were Dark Pride Dragon and Dark Quartz Dragon.
In the far north of the Dragon Empire, there was a small village not affected by Claret's regime. It didn't involve itself with the mainland's issues and lacked any significance. In comparison to the other sectors, it was one of the weakest.
However, being a former military base, it housed veteran Dragon Knights and Dragoons, along with their young trainees. Prior to Claret's reign, the village's chief - Dragon Knight, Basuit - welcomed two new trainees.

"Ayato, did you see how beautiful those Dragon Dancers were..." Yza said.
