(A/N WHEN MY NAME IS USED I WILL USE M/N)

Present:

Obviously I'm not dead, so I'm okay. The glass didn't touch me at all, but the ironic thing is, guess what saved me. The ladder! That is the reason that I have never doubted my mom when she has a 'feeling'

Carrying on...

Past:

I just stayed crouched down. Frozen. All I could hear was shouting and my name, but most of it was muffled. I couldn't take in what just happened. I wasn't even quite sure what happened...

Present:

When I think about it now, it makes me wonder, what would of happened if the ladder wasn't there? Would the injuries of been major or minor? Would I have died? Would my dad be the cause of my death? Would he be in prison? But unfortunately I am not dead, and he is not in prison so there is no point on dwelling on what can never be, right?

Past:

"M/N! M/N!" My mom screamed picking me up and checking me for injuries.

"Are you okay?" I couldn't find the words to answer so I just nodded my mouth still agape at the previous events. She kissed the top of my head and hugged me.

"Are you sure?" She checked. I nodded once more before slowly turning around and walking back to my bedroom in a zombie like way. I won't say that I wasn't traumatised because then I'd be lying. At that time I was petrified. If my dad was capable of that, what else could he be capable of? Now a days when I think of it I just feel anger.

Minutes turned into hours and I was sitting on my sisters bunk staring at the TV engrossed by the current video of barney when suddenly there was a knock at the door. Well, you couldn't really call it a door seeing as all the glass was gone so more of a... Door frame...

I heard footsteps, the door opening, hushed whispers and more footsteps. Peeping through the bedroom door I caught a glimpse of a slightly tall women with blonde hair in a bun wearing a police women's uniform. YES I remember what she looked like, after all... She was the one who put my dad in prison...

A/N WHEN I THINK BACK TO IT, IT KINDA FREAKS ME OUT TO THINK THAT I WENT TO SLEEP BASICALLY WITHOUT A DOOR. ANYONE COULD'VE COME IN AND DONE ANYTHING WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP... anything...
