Papa Doc

Doc was working in his house. He was hoping to create a potion that would make people appear younger. If he managed to perfect the potion and could sell it to other sorcerers, he could finally make some good cash. Doc smirked, "Once I finish this potion, I'll finally be able to make some good money. And then maybe I can ask Ms. Melba out on a date." Doc blushed at the thought of asking Ms. Melba on a date. He walked to the cabinet to get the next ingredient for the potion. As he got it, Seth came rushing in, "Doc!!" Doc was surprised and nearly dropped the jar containing the ingredient. Seth smiled, "Hey, Doc! Help me find Radiant!" Doc scowled at the horned wizard, "What? I already told you that I wouldn't help you! I have work to do." Seth said, "Come on! You have to! I don't have anyone else to turn to." Doc growled, "I already said no!! Now go away!!" Seth growled and kicked the cauldron that held the youth potion. It flipped into the air and the potion was dumped on Seth. Doc cried out, "No! What did you do?! Wait. You got dumped with the potion." Doc turned to face Seth, only to be met with a bundle of clothes. Doc was surprised and looked at the pile. Suddenly, the clothes began to move. Doc became scared. Just then, a tiny Seth popped out of the bundle of clothes and looked at Doc. They stared at each other before baby Seth knocked out. Doc screamed, "What?!?!?"

Melie was enjoying a nice cup of tea with Mr. Boobrie at Melba's cafe. She sighed as she drank from the cup. Ms. Melba came to her, "Oh, Melie. Enjoying the coffee?" Melie looked to her, "Yes. Thank you. Tell your father that it was very tasty." Mr. Melba, Ms. Melba's sock puppet father, spoke up, "Why thank you very much for the compliment young lady. I worked very hard to make that new recipe. I bet that no good Doc will come by soon to drink it and waste money that he doesn't have." Ms. Melba said, "Now,now. Don't be so rude to Doc. He's one of our most loyal customers." A second after that, Doc ran up to the front of the cafe. He was gasping from running so much, "Melie, you've gotta help me." Melie stood up, "Doc, what is it?" Doc held out a sleeping baby Seth, "Seth got turned into a baby!" Melie gasped, "How did this happen?" Doc explained, "I was working on a youth potion when Seth came in and started bothering me about helping him find Radiant. He kicked the cauldron that had the potion and it was poured on him. Next thing I know, he's a baby." Melie asked, "How long is this going to last?" Doc said, "Well, the potion was incomplete, so it should where off in a day or so. But, until then, he needs to be taken care of. I already contacted the wizard that raised him to bring his things from when he was young. I have to go meet her. So, please take care of Seth until I get back. Then. take care of him for the rest of the day." Melie said, "That's fine. But, why is he wrapped in a bunch of wrinkled clothes?" Doc said, "I don't exactly own any baby clothes. I need to go see Alma now. I'll be back soon." Doc ran away as quickly as he could. Ms. Melba said, "My, he sure was in a hurry." Melie smiled, "Well, he doesn't exactly get along with Seth much and he doesn't seem to do well with babies either. Guess I'll take care of Seth now." Just then, Seth began to wake up. He opened his eyes and saw Melie, Ms. Melba, and Mr. Boobrie. Melie said, "Oh, Seth. Hey there." Seth looked around before he teared up, "Where's papa?" The wizards were shocked with his question. Seth began crying, "I want my papa. I want my papa now!" Seth jumped out of Melie's arms and began running away. Melie chased after him, "Seth, wait!" Seth ran, ignoring Melie's calls, "Papa! Papa! Where are you papa!?" Seth then bumped into someone. It was Doc. Doc stumbled forward a little before turning to see Seth on the floor. Doc asked, "Seth, why are you here?" Seth looked at Doc before crying again, "Papa!!!" He jumped into Doc's arms. Seth continued to cry, "Papa, why did you go?! I missed you!!" Doc was confused. Melie soon caught up to him, "Doc. I think that Seth thinks that you're his father." Doc screamed out, "What?!" Melie said, "Well, I guess you have to take care of him now. I'll go get some things that can help." Melie ran off, leaving Doc carrying Seth. Seth looked at Doc, "Papa, are you mad at me?" Doc frowned, a bit displeased that he had to be Seth's dad until he changed back. But he had no choice, "No, Seth. I'm not mad. I'm just going to meet a nice lady to get some stuff for you." Seth smiled brightly, "You got me stuff. Thanks Papa." Seth tightly hugged Doc, who sighed and continued to walk to the docking bay. Waiting there was Alma, the independent tracker sorcerer who had raised Seth. Doc waved to her, "Alma, thank goodness that you're here. I hope that you brought the stuff." Alma frowned, "Don't worry about it. I brought everything. By the way, when should he be back to his annoying old self?" Doc sighed, "He should be back to normal tomorrow. The real problem is that he thinks that I'm his dad." Alma laughed, "Hahahaha. That's absolutely hilarious. Good luck raising him. I'll leave the stuff and be on my way." Seth looked at Alma, "Thank you nice, scary lady." Alma gave him a small smile, "Later kid." With that, she left.
