Steve
She's undeniably pretty. There isn't a single wrinkle on her face and she's a very calm person. I guess by isolating yourself for so long, your life becomes stress-free and you naturally become a calm person. She is, however, a bother. I've tried to tell her to put Stark and Clint down but she won't listen. She just says, "They're having fun, let them be."

Clint slammed his head more times than I can count and I'm convinced that he has a concussion. Stark couldn't control his new power and kept knocking stuff over and I had enough.

I tied them with a string and then tied that string to a chair, watching as they hopelessly try to untie themselves. Natasha found this quite amusing.

I laugh as they slam their heads together. Ms. Malkovich bursts out laughing. The sound is like bliss to my ears... it's beautiful. I feel my cheeks heat up and I quickly look away.

What the- I wanted to curse but I decided against it.

"Cap, are you okay?" A smirk grows on Nat's face, "You're a little red."

"Must be a fever," I lie, pushing myself out of my chair, "I'm gonna go grab some medicine."

I enter the kitchen, pouring myself a glass of whiskey. The drink burns down my throat, leaving a bitter aftertaste. I feel something tug on my leg. I look down to see Ms. Malkovich's dog, Lucy.

She drops a small ball before me and sticks out her tongue, sitting politely. My heart melts.

"Okay," I take the ball, "How did you find this."

She simply barks, walking her tail happily. I crouch down and let her. I hold the ball over my head and throw it across the room. Instantly, she leaps after it. I watch in adoration as Lucy searches for it helplessly.

"C' mere," I said, holding my arms wide open. She runs into them, licking my face profusely. I laugh and ruffle her golden locks. "You're so cute!"

"I know," I hear a familiar voice say from the doorframe. I look up to see Ms. Malkovich herself. Lucy wriggles out of my arms and runs to her.

Okay, who's the wise guy that poured lava over my face? I rub my neck awkwardly, "Sorry..."

"It's fine," she said, amused.

"Seems that you're getting used to being here," I straighten my posture, avoiding her eyes.

"You guys are nice," she compliments. "Besides, Lucy seems to be enjoying herself. She doesn't usually like people."

"I don't see why Fury considers you a threat," I confess, leaning against the kitchen island and folding my arms.

"Well," her spellbinding e/c eyes meet mine, "I'm not the threat. It's what's looking for me that is."

Before I could ask her what she meant, Natasha walks into the kitchen, "Sorry to interrupt your little make-out session-"

"We weren't making out, he's way out of my league," Ms. Malkovich clarifies.

"-but Tony and Clint really need to get down."

Y/n
I sigh and shuffle to the pilot room, Lucy on my trail.

"Uh, Ms. Malkovich-"

"Y/n," I correct.

"-Y/n," he said. The way my name rolled off his lips so effortlessly sent shivers down my spine. "Maybe you and I could go for some coffee... sometime?"

"I don't drink coffee," I smirk with amusement.

His face reddens, "Or... ice cream?"

"I'll be looking forward to that, Lover Boy," with that, I leave him in the kitchen lovestruck.

Romanoff elbows me playfully, "I like you already." I smile in response.

"Hey, uh," Tony stammers, "Please put us down."

I swipe my hand, Barton falling face-flat on the ground and Tony landing gracefully.

"Fuck," Barton curses, his voice muffled against the shiny floor.

"Language," Rogers appears in the doorframe, his arms folded tightly over his chest.

"We're here~" Romanoff said in a sing-song voice.

I peer outside the open window, gazing down at the large Helicarrier. A large hatch opens, revealing an empty room just large enough to fit the ship carrying us.

Lucy barks fearfully, jumping into Stark's arms. He fights her off, Rogers hoisting her up into his arms. She really likes those guys, huh?

A/n: sorry I haven't been active. It's just that school's finally started and I have a lot of homework. But, I promise I'll be as active as I possibly can. Sorry :((
