Tony lays on a bed, with Pepper at his side. Lana also lays on a bed, with Loki at her side, while Bruce checks her over. They lock eyes and he nods. She nods as well, sitting up.
"Bruce gave him a sedative. He's gonna be out for the rest of the day." Rhodey says, referring to Tony.
"You guys take care of him. And I'll bring a Xorrian Elixir when I come back." Carol Danvers states.
"Where are you going?" Natasha asks.
"To kill Thanos."
"Hey, you know, we usually work as a team around here, and between you and I, we're also a little fragile."
"We realize out there is more of your territory, but this is our fight too." Steve tells her. Lana, Loki, and Bruce walk back into the room.
"Do you even know where he is?" Rhodey asks. Lana rolls her eyes. This shit again?
"I know people who might."
Nebula stands behind Carol. "Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is." She states, earning everyone's attention. "Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. Then when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask 'where would we go once his plan was complete?'. His answer was always the same: to the Garden."
"That's cute, Thanos has a retirement plan." Lana laughs.
"You must be the Rhodey Anthony spoke so highly of." She remarks, offering him her hand. "I'm Lana. I don't think I mentioned man's prior to this." Rhodey looks to where Tony is laying, a huge smile on his face.
"Tony spoke about me?" Lana nods.
"He wouldn't shut up about you and a Miss Potts. I'd say he's smitten with you if I didn't see the way he hugged Miss Potts." Rhodey's smile grows.
"So where is he then?" Steve asks. Lana scowls; she already does not like this man.
"When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions." Rocket speaks up. "No one's ever seen anything like it. . . Until two days ago." A hologram of a planet pops up, with a shockwave visibly traversing the surface. "On this planet."
"Thanos is there."
"He used the stones again." Natasha adds to Nebula's statement.
"Hey, hey, we'd be going in short-handed, you know." Bruce chimes in.
"Look, he's still got the stones, so. . ." Rhodey agrees.
"So let's get them. . . We'll use them to bring everyone back." Carol says.
"Just like that?"
"Yeah, just like that." Steve agrees. He and Carol share a knowing look.
"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this. . ." Natasha starts. "I mean we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try."
"If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?" Bruce asks.
"Because before, you didn't have me." Lana raises an eyebrow.
"Hey, new girl, everyone here is about that superhero life. And if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodey remarks.
"There are a lot of other planets in the universe. And unfortunately, they didn't have you guys." Lana snorts and looks to Rhodey. He looks to the goddess as well. She shrugs as if to say Carol has a point.
