drink up fuckos

Greed looked around him. It was loud, people were everywhere. Today he had arranged a bar party for a bunch of other vampires in the city. Some couldn't make it, but most came. Even Valentino did, though he kept his distance and drank alone quietly.
Kat was already extremely drunk and was sitting on and facing Cas. Wild.
Damien and Car were bickering, probably Car trying to convince him to drink and hook up with Greed or something. Damien seemed very against the idea. Sachiel was drinking coke, since he wasn't able to drink alcohol just yet. He was sitting with Val, and they seemed to be hitting it off. About what? Greed will never know, those two had a strange bond.
Greed downed his shot and joined some conversations here and there. After all, it was HIS event. He did leave Kat and Cas alone though, but they should probably get a taxi before it gets a bit too risky. For the rest of the event he had ended up hanging around Damien and Car, where they had played a drinking game and drew cute stars and hearts on his face while he basically screamed to be saved. Sachiel merely watched the angry man suffer with a calm smile on his face.
"HELP ME YOU LITTLE BRAT—"
Sachiel sipped on his cola. "No can do, sir,"
Damien growled but with two people aggressively holding him down and drawing on his face his temper only ran thinner and thinner.

After some time, the party had died down. Cas and Kat had taken a taxi to who knows where, Damien had fallen asleep, drunk, with little drawings all over him, Sachiel was helping the bar workers clean up the mess the vampires made, and Greed and Car were slightly tipsy. They were talking and laughing about how fun that night was and poking fun at the two girls who were really getting it on earlier.
Valentino didn't seem to be in the bar at the moment, he might've been in the bathroom, since Greed didn't see him leave.
Eventually, the group began to disperse, Car struggling to carry Damien out the door, and Sachiel waving his goodbyes. Greed decided to wait for Valentino since they lived in the same dorm after all. He turned to the bartender and said that the last dude was going to pay for everything (Val), and he walked outside the bar. He stretched and breathed in a large breath of air. Fresh air sure did sober him up a little.
After what seemed to be like forever (5 minutes), Valentino exited the bar.
"You really made me pay again," Valentino said with a loud sigh.
Greed giggled. "Of course~ I don't have a sugar daddy for no reason!" Greed turned to Valentino. "What took you so long, I was gonna leave without you."
"I... drank a bit more than I should've, I don't think I can drive us back tonight so I called a taxi." Valentino sighed again. It wasn't like him to drink so much to the point where he says that, since he was so strong to alcohol. Just how much did he drink?
The two waited for their taxi outside of the bar in silence. Silent again, Greed thought. He began to play with his fingers, hyper aware of how strangely silent Val was. A few minutes passed, and their car had arrived. Val had confirmed the ride details and let Greed in the car first. Since it was the middle of the night, they could barely see in the car, and their only source of light was the streetlights and other cars around them. They each sat by the window seats, a small space in between them. Greed looked out the window, he didn't know if teasing Valentino now was a good idea.
He glanced over at Valentino. He did seem a bit out of it. "Hey, uh... are you stressed? You've been smoking a lot more lately and it's not like you to even get tipsy..."
The question hung in the air for several moments.
"Hm..."
"..."
Valentino turned to look at Greed and gently put one of his hands on Greed's cheek.
"Maybe I am."
It was brief, but his hands felt oddly warm. As quickly as his hand was placed there, it slid off Greed's cheek. He could still feel the warmth of Val's hand lingering around his cheek.
Val blinked and looked out the window. All Greed could do was stare at him with so many questions.
Why did he do that? Is he just drunk? He must be really stressed if he's acting THIS off. Why so gentle suddenly? Why does he keep doing this? Wh-
"Is here okay?" the driver asked, slowing the car to a halt. Greed shook his head. He forgot he was in a car. "Here's fine," Val said, opening the door to the car. "Let's go, Greed. Or you can just stay here and get driven away somewhere far away. That'd make my life and bank account extremely at ease."
Never mind, he's just the same as he always is.
