Well, the class just finished and right now it's the short break and another amazing thing is that the place I'm sitting at, which in the past I mentioned that, it was the most neglected seat in the class, is getting the most attention it could ever get.
I mean I feel for you 'seat' but the fact is that, it's not you 'seat'. It's the area we both are in and that is on the backseat of a newly transferred student who everyone is eyeing for and is interested in.
Yeah, even though I said she scares me a lot but I can't hide the fact from you guys that it's the first time in god knows how long that I've not paid attention to the teacher... I'm so sorry teach but this phenomenon sitting in front of me just wouldn't let me concentrate on your lecture. I'm so sorry I let you down teach (*Cries in the background*).
Right now everyone is scouting her, keeping their eyes on her every moment just like a hungry leopard watches a deer or a pack of wolves surrounds its prey or like a lion- I'm sorry it's just too much of National Geographic. And fun fact Haru and Suki love that show too. So I am obligated to watch it.
But seriously, have you ever noticed? Whenever you are in a new environment, people will start to observe you. Formulating opinions on your personal life even if they don't know a single thing about you, this has just became a necessary norm for them.
These opinions are based on the smallest observation, the first thing that caught their eye, like the way you walk. These opinions range from observations which have no real foundation to them, to ones which are a major part of your personality like your behaviour.
You know what people I'm kind so I'll tell you a way to always make a positive impression on these people who judge you (this trick can be used by both boys and girls).
So firstly think of how you judge someone else, it may vary from person to person.
Now try to introspect yourselves bit by bit and the answers you find, may differ as, some people judge others on the basis of what they are good at, for example, if you know that you that friendless is one of your fortes then you will judge other people on the basis of their friendly nature, for you the person who is less friendly will be ranked lower, and who is more friendly will be ranked higher... you know what I mean.
As for the second answer, some people judge others on the basis of stereotypes set by society, for example, a person who is good looking and attractive will always be judged as more approachable by these people but it is completely opposite in case of someone who is less attractive.
Some people judge people just by their demeanour and I don't think I need you to give an example for that.
In this way, there are many other ways people judge others when they look at them for the first time. (Do tell me how you judge people.)
So now that you've understood how people judge someone, you can use the same strategy to make yourself look good and it doesn't take a brainer to answer that right? (I suggest you try and find out as many different opinions as you can and then try and rank these opinions from most important to the least, then try to find common things in different observations and finally make your own list based on all these observations, it's a simple experiment which will surely help you in the long run.)
Few pointers, which should be kept in mind are that 'there is no perfect first impression', there will always be someone who is going to see you in the negative light so your main goal should be to impress the majority rather than every single person(Well that's how politics works too).
Another thing is that there are a few conditions that will always work regardless of the type of people you are trying to impress which are, be humble, don't wear something which makes you seem unapproachable, I would suggest something which is not too expensive but at the same time it shouldn't be too cheap. I should be a perfect mixture of both of them, hence wear something which makes you seem more modest.
