I stood outside the cold harsh wind blowing at both me and Gabriela.

We stare down at the plaza as the Mayor stands there preparing for the countdown.

"Look Robin!" Gabriela points off in the distance to my serious boyfriend who I was looking forward to being accompanied by.

"Hey baby." He smiles at both of us kissing me deeply first and then hugging Gabriela's side.

"Hey." I spoke softly.

"You okay?" He cups my face.

"Fine." I smile at him, believably.

"Hey guys." It was Scott, Liam, Stiles, Lydia and Brooklyn.

Yuck.

"Hi." we all say together.

I turn to face them, my face not so pleasant.

"Guys, since we are all best of buddies--" Brooke began.

"No." Everyone said.

she rolls her eyes.

"Since you all are friends with my boyfriend who kindly took me back tonight. I want to share the news with all of you!" Brooke explains clapping her hands.

The countdown had began.

"5 .. 4 .. 3 .."

"IM PREGNANT!" Brooke yells powerfully implying that Liam was the father.

He had no expression across his face.

He looks disappointed.

My heart had stopped and fallen to the ground breaking into a gazillion pieces.

"2 .. 1! happy new year!"

I felt Robin's lips crash onto mine.

The idea and thought of Brooke and Liam ..

"Happy New Years baby" Robin whispers leaning his forehead against mine.

"H-Happy new years. I need some water I'll be back." I whisper walking away quickly.

My world had just crumbled from underneath my feet and I could not be broken no longer.

"Kay! Kayla!" I heard my name.

"Kayla look, it can be worse!" Gabriela calls.

"What?" I turn to face her.

"Liam is a stupid jackass who isn't worth your tears or time. He's a jerk, come on fun! Drinking, partying!" Gabriela smiles.

"My leg really hurts. I'm gonna go home." I say softly making her eyes drop.

"But Laylee."

She made weird names up for me.
