Chapter 4
"Test 12 - Toast" Jon placed a piece of bread onto his hand. He heated his hand, and focused the heat into the bread. In just seconds, he could smell the bread toasting. And several moments later, he held a piece of toast in his hand. He then buttered it, and was about to eat it, but then got a better idea. He stared at the butter, and watched it melt before his very eyes. Jon smiled, and put down the toast. He started to rub his fingers together. He saw a thin line of smoke rise from his finger tips. He rubbed them faster and harder, seeing small sparks spread through his fingers like fireworks. He then joined both his hands together, and rubbed them together as fast as he could. Huge sparks rose from his hands, until suddenly, his hands set on fire. Jon shouted in surprise, but then realized the fire wasn't hurting him, but warmed his hands in a nice way. He stared in awe at the beautiful orange flames. illuminating his room. He closed his hands, the flames immediately extinguished themselves. He opened them again, and the flames ignited. Jon's excitement was interrupted by the house's smoke alarm. He extinguished the flames, and covered his ears.
