the next morning i woke up to find murphy asleep and connor awake on the couch watching tv. i got up and walked over to him but he didnt notice until i began to sit down
"hey are you alright you were extremely scared last night" he asked as
he puled me into a hug
"oh im fine i was just overwhelmed with all the yells and gun shots i
have been lik that since my second year of high school" i told him as he looked at
me curisously
"why wat happened ur second year of high school" he asked as he kept his right arm
around my shoulder as murphy walked over he had apparently been awake
listening to our conversation he sat down on my other side and kissed
my forehead
"there was many of us in the caf for lunch and then these twenty or so
guys came in and fired a warning shit in the air. after a few minutes
of them yelling at us to get on the ground two of them walked up to
where i was with a group of my guy friends and they killed the two i
was in between then injured three of my other guy friends near me and
then they shot me eight times when i woke up the next time it was
almost a month later all the doctors had been positive i would never
wake up but then i did and i had to stay in the hospital for another
four weeks with physical and pyscalogical theropy for anither year" when
i finished i looked up to see them bith with angry sad happy expressions
"did they catch who did it if not i will personally go and find them
myself" murphy said as he pulled me to him
"i will help. they did all that to you. there gonna regret it. once we get our hands on them..." connor trailed off in thought as he and murphy thought of cruel ways to kill those guys who had hurt me in the past
"god friggin...ugh" connor muttered looking at the clock
"shit your right con" murphy said as he too stared at the clock
"listen, gillian, were gonna drop you off at our friend rocco's place because we have to work and dont want you to be here by yourself, okay?" connor asked me looking me in the eyes like an adult would do to a child
"okay. ill go get dressed real fast." before i got an arms length away i shoved both of them down and ran for the bathroom with a bag of clothes as they threw pillows at me missing each time.
after we were all dressed the boys and i went down and got into the car. on the way to their friends place they were telling me about him and what to do if something like last night happened again when they were at work.
"you go and you crawl out the window then you run down the street to the meat warehouse where we work. can you remember that?" murphy asked as he looked at me
"yup" i said popping the "p" causing connor to laugh
"oh haha aren't ya funny?" murphy said reaching back to push me but i slapped his hand away
"the lass got ya there huh murphy?" connor said winking at me through the rear view mirror
"alright knock it off you two. i swear that i am the older one out of us...and i haven't know you for twenty-four hours yet!" i said as we got out of the car. connor pointed down the street slightly and i followed his finger
"thats where we'll be. first sight of trouble you take off through the fire escape and run down there. dont look back just run." connor said as he and murphy got on both sides of me while they put an arm around my shoulders.
"and please no tormenting rocco when ya meet him? i know your like us and are a jokester but just dont do it today. he'll freak out that one we met ya cause we did tell him we would probably never find you and two i dont think he could handle another us in any form." murphy said as we all laughed as we walked to a door. connor and murphy dropped their arms as connor walked in and murphy pushed me in following me.
"hey rocco? you here lad?" connor called through the appartment
"yeah right here. dont you two have to work?" he asked as he came into view
"hello" i said as he looked at me. once he heard me speak he went down the line of us. first connor then me and finally murphy.
"rocco this is our baby sister gillian. gillian this is our friend rocco." murphy said as he placed an arm around my shoulders
"rocco can i talk to you in the hall?" connor asked as he and rocco walked out the door closing it behind them.
"well that was not as hard as i thought it would be" murphy said as he and sat on the couch. "so i forgot to ask any weird tattoos?" he asked as he looked at one of his
"yeah. well i dont think there weird." i lifted the sleave of my shirt to show a celtic cross on my right upper arm and then "Veritas" on the left and Aequitas on the right inner parts of my lower arms.
"well you really are our sister." murphy said as we both laughed as connor and rocco walked in.
"alright so gillian be nice." connor warned looking me in the eyes like a child once again
"hey! im not that bad!" i said as connor gave me a hug and a kiss
"yes you are. just sit and watch tv and remember first sight of trouble.."murphy said as he too hugged and kissed me.
"yeah jump out the window."i said as they walked out.
for alittle while we sat and watched tv. then it all went down hill
