Veridical-truthful, coinciding with reality.

June's POV

What am I doing? I can't let this happen, I have to do something. I immediately untied myself and jumped up when I saw Jay open the door with the gun still behind him and I heard Brenda talking.

Jay: Brenda what a nice surprise-

Brenda: Excuse me why are you not at work? I could suspend you for this.

Jay: First of all I thought I had the day off, second of all now that y'all got your little important client you think you can just talk to me any kind of way now?

Brenda: Yes I can because I am your boss and where is June?

Jay: Why is she getting suspended too?

Brenda: I ain't got time to play these games with you.

Jay: I don't know isn't she always with you?

Brenda: (Sarcasm) Haha very funny I don't know why everyone keeps saying that. Look no one hasn't seen her ever since y'all went out last night.

Jay: Well she walked out on me last night so I don't where she is.

Ugh, who would have known he would be such a lying bastard?

Brenda: Oh my god where could she be?

Jay: It's going to be okay.

What should I do? He needs to be knocked out but with what? A vase, wait no that's too small but his lamp is perfect.

Brenda: We need to call the police.

Jay: No, no, no we can't because you know how the police are they just going to give us some bull crap about she has to be missing for 24 hours or something.

Brenda: So what can we do- (gasps)

(Jay's lamp breaks on his head)

Damn, that was loud and I could feel Brenda staring at me hard.

June: Let's go!

Brenda: What the hell is going on?!

June: We ain't got time to talk let's get out of here.

We immediately hopped in the car while I checked our surroundings making sure nobody saw us then we pulled out.

Brenda: Are you going to tell me what was that for?

June: We need to go to the police?

Brenda: What, did he do something to you? I always knew I couldn't trust him even when we was kids.

June: He was the shooter, Brenda.

Brenda: Wait a minute you mean-

June: Yes the one from the gay club.

Brenda: Are you sure?

June: I'm very sure he had the same gun and clothes that were on the news.

Brenda: Oh June, I'm sorry girl.

June: (Sigh) It's not your fault I mean I give my all into these half-assed men only to find out they are not all that they seem, I hate this.

Brenda: June.

June: (Screams) I hate this, I hate this, I HATE THIS!!! (Sobs) Goddamn it!

Why am I crying?

Brenda: June, calm down.

June: No I hate that I keep doing this, I hate that my relationships have me falling out with my friends and family for nothing.

Brenda: It's okay you will get through this.
