Confound - amaze, astonish, dumbfound, stagger, surprise, startle, stun, stupefy, daze, nonplus, throw, shake, unnerve, disconcert, discompose, dismay, bewilder.

Casey's POV

Security guard: Sir, put the weapon down!

Jay: No!

Casey: Jay, wait! Don't do anything stupid.

Jay: Oh I won't.

Quincy: Bruh look-

Jay: Everyone shut up and back up! I'm not going to jail because of you.

Quincy: The police is already on the way so what is the point?

Jay: The point is y'all set me up and I ain't going down for this alone you already took a lot away from me!

Casey: What are you talking about?

Jay: You really don't remember having drinks after work one day and you were complaining with your brother about how much your life sucks now after your divorce, you moving into a very small apartment and all that other shit then you came up with this plan about having this fake hate crime shooting so you could have more money and more respect.

Casey: Oh come on man we were drunk we were never serious about that.

Jay: You think I'm stupid?

Quincy: Yes because even if we went through with this so-called plan we said fake shooting not real so that's all on you.

Jay: No, no just look at the text message you sent me that day.

We looked at the text on Jay's phone which said: "It's official this needs to happen tonight come to Club Flamingo at 7 and shut it DOWN."

Casey: What?

Quincy: Let me see that.

Quincy snatches Jay's phone away.

Jay: Hey give that back-

Quincy: Shut up. Dawg this ain't even your number. Who this?

Jay: Bro I swear if you don't-

Quincy: Aight I'll call them.

Quincy calls the number and some woman answers the phone.

Diana: What on earth do you want? I'm in court right now, I told you business between us was done. Thanks for taking out her brother-in-law but I got this.

Quincy: Yo who is this?

The phone call suddenly ended.

Casey: Who was that?

Jay: Oh you have done it now.

Casey: Wait!

Quincy: What is wrong with you?

Jay: Y'all is what's wrong with me.

Casey: What the hell did we do? You set your self up listening to whoever that was on the phone.

I don't know who that was on the phone but it sounded like they had a huge grudge against either Brenda or Melinda.

(The police and S.W.A.T. team arrives warning Jay to give up)

Officer #1: (Speaking through a megaphone) We have the place surrounded come out with your hands up!

Casey: It's over, Jay.

Jay: No it's not fair!

Officer: Lives are at stake here come out or we will force entry!

Jay: You stole her from me.
