Chapter 1 - A Soldier Steals A Goddess

Muse has decided to enter the Love Live competition again after a two month hiatus. Honoka Kousaka has been named the new Student Council President by Eli Ayase prior to that. They searched everywhere for a place where they can perform their new song.

They scouted the streets of Akihabara but to no avail. They already performed there. Even in school. Their endless search takes them to front of UTX Academy. Then the electronic billboard turned on once again. It was announcing the second Love Live competition. Honoka, Kotori and Umi looked up at the billboard.

When suddenly a girl dressed in an all white school uniform suddenly showed up in front of Honoka.

????: "Kousaka-san"

Honoka: A-a A-RISE!!!

The girl puts her finger on Honoka's lips and pulls her away from her friends. The others follow them. Hanayo saw them and starts running after them.

Kotori's Thoughts:

*As I saw my long time crush Honoka-chan being pulled away from us by the mysterious girl. I felt a little jealous. I always held Honoka-chan's hand even when we were kids. But then I saw the look on her face. It was a look that was similar to mine. Honoka-chan liked it. She was bedazzled by that girl in white. Where is she taking her? I asked myself. But alas I lost them from my view. Who is she anyway? Why is she stealing my Honoka-chan? Eventually we were able to catch up with Hanayo and Nico. Honoka-chan was still mesmerized by the girl in white. Soon she led us to a room that was big enough for 12. And then she started complementing us one by one. But her eyes were focused on Honoka-chan. My heart feels like it's breaking at that instant.*

End of Kotori's thoughts.

Meanwhile Umi who is secretly in love with Kotori. Just watches their childhood friend being taken away by the brunette haired girl in white. She agonizingly looks at her crush while giving chase to the girl in white.

Umi's Point of View:

"I don't know why I am looking at Kotori-chan differently. I can sense that she is crying inside. I want to comfort her. But. I don't have the courage to do so. Then I looked at Honoka-chan. How she awed that girl from A-RISE. She made more compliments on her and only a few on us. I can tell by the way she looked at Honoka-chan that she is interested in her. It was not just a rival looking at her opponent. But a girl who is ready to fall in love with my friend. And the way Honoka-chan looked at her. It clearly shows that she's also ready to fall in love with that girl. I wish I can have the courage to tell Kotori-chan how I feel about her."

As the two school idol groups parted ways. Two girls are going through an emotional rollercoaster. The others notice this but are afraid to ask them. On the other hand, Honoka is still in awe after what Tsubasa Kira said. It was the first time for her to be told that she was captivating in person.

Later that night. The two groups are now on the rooftop of UTX Academy. First to perform was A-RISE. The other members of Muse were overwhelmed by the way they performed. But not Honoka. She was more focused on Tsubasa.

Then it was their turn to perform. A-RISE were impressed with the way Muse executed their dance steps. As well as their choreography. But not Tsubasa, she was too focused on Honoka.

When it was over both A-RISE and Muse made it to the preliminary finals. This time it was going to be a more difficult journey for them. However two hearts are already on a difficult journey themselves. While two have seemed to find a connection between them.
