Chapter 22 - A Little Recreation, A Little Rain, & Honoka Gets Lost in New York

After all eight of them have finished fulfilling their sexual desires. And Honoka just finished an entire chapter of her favorite manga. The girls now go to hotel's dining area to have lunch. This time there's rice on the table. And this makes Hanayo happy. After eating they all decide to go visit the famous places in New York City. One of them is the Statue of Liberty on Statin island. Then they went to the Empire State Building. Once again they visited Central Park.

Last on their trip is the Ed Sullivan Theater. They enjoyed their stay inside the building. As they are about to go outside. It starts to rain hard this made them stay for a while. All nine of them waited for the rain to stop. Of course if this happened in Japan. Honoka would have stepped out and shout the same words to make the rain stop. But this is the United States, so stopping the rain is impossible.

As soon as the rain stopped they all went outside. However Honoka got separated from her friends. She ended up riding on the wrong train. And eventually she got lost in New York. The other members of Muse decided to wait for her outside of the hotel. Meanwhile Honoka is now out of the train station where she got off. She begins to lose as she got lost in the streets of New York.

Suddenly she hears a woman singing a song from the movie "Casablanca".

She immediately runs to where the mysterious voice is coming from. As soon as she reaches the place where the voice is coming from. She sees a woman wearing a blue long sleeved sweater and a blue bonnet. The woman looks like a mature version of her. A small crowd is watching the singer. As soon as she finishes, she thanks them for taking time to watch her perform. She then invites the small audience to her concert.

Honoka approaches her and tells the woman about the predicament that she's in. They start by riding a train. And then they start walking towards the hotel. The young ginger then asks the seemingly mature version of her some questions. The woman answers her casually. And then it was her turn to ask Honoka some questions. The young ginger couldn't give any answer. The woman told her that it was ok. She says to her that Honoka will find out the answer someday.

As soon as they reach the hotel. The woman stops walking and watches Honoka go to her friends. She disappears as soon as a yellow van passes in between the crossroad. Honoka runs and calls out her friends. She's about to say sorry to Umi. When the once shy archer shouted at her. Of course this scared the ginger a little bit. But in the end she got a hug from her childhood friend.

Umi: Don't you know how much worried we are about you?

Honoka: I'm so sorry. I'm the leader and yet I haven't been acting like one. All I did was cause you trouble. I promise to make it up to you.

Eli: You can make it up tomorrow by leading us to a good performance.

Honoka: I will!!

As all the nine girls sleep the night away. Their performance tomorrow will determine how strong their resolve to quit after Love Live. For once they return back to Japan. Their popularity as a school idol group will increase ten times than what they can imagine. The next morning, all of them wake up early and do their usual morning jog from the hotel all the way to Central Park. This time they were relaxed in their morning exercise. And then they made last minute practices before calling it a day.

After that they have their usual breakfast. Hanayo is once again said that she has to eat bread for breakfast. While Honoka is the one who is very happy. Umi didn't bother to scold her knowing that this will be their first of three performances before calling it quits. For the third years it was a beautiful experience to be on stage with their six underclassmen who became their friends. Eventually they treated each other as family.

With Eli as the father and Nozomi as both their mother and spiritual adviser. All of them decide to go on a last minute shopping trip in the afternoon. Then they relaxed back in their hotel rooms. By nightfall it was time for the big performance. All of them dressed in different colored kimonos created and designed by Kotori Minami. They position themselves on the rooftop of a tv station. With an American tv company helping in the broadcast of the concert. The girls begin to sing and dance their song Angelic Angel.

After the concert it was back to the hotel again for the last time. Tomorrow morning all of them will be flying back to Japan. And their resolve will be tested. Once they return to their fatherland. Their performance in New York City will be the talk of the town. This will make what Honoka feared then when they become popular. But for now, they're all enjoy their final night in America. As for Honoka Kousaka, she is happy that she's going to be reunited with her girlfriend after a week in the US.

And she will definitely have lots of stories to tell to Tsubasa Kira. They are going to have a hard time getting away from the view of their fans. All of whom don't know that they're in a relationship. Both of them are hoping that if their love affair is discovered. Their fans will understand and respect their relationship. Especially on the part of Muse. They still don't know that their leader is in love with the leader of A-RISE.
