Chapter 7 - The Honk, The Writer, The Nurse, and The Soldier (Part 1)

Tsubasa quickly informs the Otonokizaka trio about how Anju and Erena keeps track of the former's family limousine. They knew if they head straight home questions will arise. So they decided to go a clothing shop in Akihabara. Once they picked and bought their disguises. They immediately changed their clothes and appearance.

Honoka is now wearing a blue long sleeve shirt and light grey pants with a black beret and black square shaped sunglasses and let's down her hair to avoid being recognized.

Umi is now wearing a black shirt with a black jacket and pants. Her accessories are black sunglasses, and a green scarf.

Kotori decided to wear a nurse"s uniform, a face mask, and balls up her hair.

Tsubasa decided to go for a soldier look.

Upon seeing each other in different appearance. They all laugh and took a picture of themselves. And then have a group picture. Now it was time to go home. They decided to go on separate ways and waved at each other goodbye.

For Umi and Kotori keeping their relationship from the others was easy at first. This was mainly due to the fact that Kotori was once close to Honoka. However when Nico started noticing a change in the Otonokizaka trio. That's when hiding their relationship will be a difficult task.

If it's difficult for KotoUmi to hide their relationship. It is much harder for Honoka and Tsubasa. Their school, groups, and themselves are already considered rivals in the eyes of their fans. But having a relationship is not something their fans would like to read, see, and hear.

Kotori's Point of View:

As I go home dressed up as a nurse. I'm pretty sure that the others will ask me where I was yesterday. I have to keep silent about my relationship with my archer. Otherwise I'll end up being questioned more by the others. And getting reprimanded by Nico-chan. How am I going to escape this situation? I'm not the person who knows how to lie.

End of Kotori's Point of View.

Kotori: "Well I managed to get home without any hitches. But something is bothering me though."

As Kotori walks home towards. She's thinking about not only her beloved archer. But also the honk who made it all possible for her. She knows a relationship between rivals is the most unacceptable thing in the school idol world.

She's now outside the house.

Flashback:

(Kotori texting her mom)

Kotori: "Oka-san can you tell my friends that I'll be late coming home. Tell them that I'm still in Hokkaido checking out some colleges there."

Chairwoman Minami: "Ok I'll do that. But why do you want me to lie to them?"

Kotori: "Long story Oka-san."

Chairwoman Minami: "I see...."

Kotori: "By the way I am coming home disguised as a nurse. If you see me, pretend to ask if I am the nurse that the hospital sent to check up on you."

Chairwoman Minami: "Alright... I'll do it. But you have to give me a logical explanation as to why I have to lie to your friends."

Kotori: "Ok Oka-san... I promise."

End of flashback:

Chairwoman Minami: I'm sorry girls. But I'm afraid Kotori can't make it back home just yet.

Eli: But why Madam Chairwoman?

Chairwoman Minami: She says she has to still check out the different colleges in Hokkaido.

Eli: I see....

(A knock on the door is heard)

Knock knock knock.....

Chairwoman Minami: Coming.... Oh it's you. Are you the nurse that the hospital sent to check up on me?

Nurse (Kotori): Yes I am ma'am. (voice is a little garbled because of the face mask)

Chairwoman Minami: Thank you for coming. My high blood pressure suddenly shot up while I was cooking.

Nurse (Kotori): Don't worry ma'am I have something that might help lower it.

Eli: Madam Chairwoman if may excuse us. We will be taking our leave now.
Let's go girls.

Ok girls. Don't stay up too late ok.

Don't worry madam chairwoman we won't.

Goodbye madam chairwoman. They all said in unison. (closes the door and waits for them to disappear)

Elicchi why did we have to leave?

Because I suspect that they might have thought of a plan on how to avoid us.

Nya.... Hiss..... Nya....

What is it Rin?

My cat senses are telling me that the nurse is Kotori-chan.

Are you sure?

I'm positively sure.

But we can't go back now. We're almost at the bus stop.

Let's just settle this tomorrow.

As the girls ride the bus home. Kotori is now explaining to her mom on why she had to lie just to make them leave.

I see.... So you have fallen in love with Honoka-san. But then she rejected you. And Umi-san comforted you and finally admitted to you about her feelings for you.

Hai Okasan... But we must keep it a secret from the others. If Nico-chan finds out that Not only me and Umi-chan have a relationship. But also Honoka-chan and Tsubasa-san as well. She will be surely infuriated.

Ok I'll try not to let it slip my mind.

I'm sorry Okasan if I have to make you lie to my friends.

It's ok Kotori.... I did the same thing when I was your age.

Pretty much the same thing as I am doing right now.

Okasan I hope that my relationship with Umi-chan lasts forever. I know it's wrong for two girls to fall in love with each other. But I love her. She's been always there for me. Especially during the time when I was so afraid to tell Honoka-chan that I am studying abroad.

Don't worry my beautiful daughter. As long as she makes you happy. I won't be against it.
